Hello,
I have been reading the posts about working at home. My daughter, who is 19 but has never been employed, is interested in working from home. Early July she will be moving from AZ to SC, with her fiance, and after discussing the endless possibilities of working from home, she thinks this would be the best solution. My husband and I are both employed in the travel industry, and she is quite familiar with bookings, etc. from traveling, etc.
My questions are as follows: 1. Since she has no "real" experience, would she even be considered? She is organized, and can accurately type approximately 25wpm from taking her online courses while homeschooling. 2. Does any legitimate agency offer any data entry type of positions or something that does not include call center/customer service? 3. Are weekend or evening hours required? She is considering taking some classes but wants to work as well.
Thanks!

Technically, if she wants to work from home, if she is working online, she could work whenever she wanted...there is a lot of flexibility.

But is there any places that will consider hiring her since she has no experience? Most of the work at home agencies, like West, require weekends, which would be okay, however they don't state anything in regards to unexperienced agents.....

Hey Arizona,
If you are in the travel industry, you should take a look at Coastal. We have many diverse options, and there are many travel agents who do Coastal as a side business. That might not be for your daughter but you may find it interesting. The possibilities are endless, especially if you are already familiar with travel. You didn't mention what your daughter was interested in, but it sounds like she is much more interested in a work at home job than business. Maybe someone else can help with the data entry positions because I don't know much about that.
