What do you think will be the next big way to make money at home? Do you think it will be off line or on line? Have you seen any areas/niches exhibiting growth or are poised to grow? Thanks. Looking forward to hearing some great ideas.

My Power Mall. No, I don't think it will be offline, that's hilarious. Are you sure that you [just] joined the right forum?

Niches poised for growth...sure, we'll tell you because we'd love to help you compete against us.

NEXT!

It will definitely be online, or at least it will be promoted and marketed and spread online. The internet has become information central for most people, and if you want to sell something, better make sure it's online!

What will it be? I have no idea!

Hi Brooke,

I asked the same thing when I first started. GPT stands for "Get Paid To" and essentially, you get paid for doing different things on these sites--providing customer ffeedback, filling out forms, responding to surveys, etc.

There are tons of scams out there. That's why I had to do so much research and also why I post payment proof.

Thanks for asking.

Online based business is the trend:

- Is convenient
- Is dynamic
- Easy to setup (not easy to promote because of the competition and
evolving technologies).
- Low overhead
- Compliant with the globalization trend
- It can be "viral" (if you know how to do it you can spread your site all
over the Internet).
- Instant response and "on demand" by nature

Payment Proof ... I'm sorry but your site seems like many other re-directional sites out there. And not enough info on exactly what is needed to "earn" money at any of links. Many of them sound like contests and awards. Are they mostly survey sites?

I totally agree with Torresinc. I just wish I can spread my site all over the internet without investing my arm and leg just in advertisements alone. I wonder, how much it cost to get on the top 3 of the google ads. Probably $10 per click huh? Have anyone tried to advertise with google? How much does it cost?

I've been hearing a lot about Yuwie lately. It's kind of like myspace, but they pay posters every time they click on something on the site. People seem to be pretty excited about it.

Yes Yuwie is great Want info about it,pm me (yes I am cheeky lol)
In answer to your question:Online business will be the place to be without a doubt.
What will be the next biggest thing?
My Power Mall~I would say that wouldn't I lol
But seriously,it is one of the fastest growing sectors online and poised to grow larger still.
Another is domain names, its estimated that another 15 million domain names will be registered within the next few years(gives a big clue about what way online business is heading)

Apart from that I would say travel will expand even further-its predicted to.
And I would say eco products or something along those lines, given the current climate we are in and how as a world we seem to be moving, albeit slowly to more a green way of living.
And we may find we have to or we face getting some extra taxes from the guys in government

In my mind the next really big thing will be (and already is) the wellness industry together with network marketing.

Millions of people out there require education about wellness products and are willing to pay for it...

According to Paul Zane Pilzer, the wellness sector spent $70 billion on food supplements last year!

Regards, Peter

Definitely it is something online and I really think it's already here.

I looked for 20 years....yes I said 20 years...until I finally found what I thought was the next big boom.

I was not self employeed for 36 years...meanng I always had a boss on my back...and most of those bosses know less about what I was doing than I did.

I searched and researched for so long until my research led me to a company that had impeccable reports from the Better Business Bureau and I coundn't find any negative criticism anywhere.

Also, it doesn't cost anything, ever to do the business.

And it utitlizes the internet, but you don't have to have internet at home to do the business. Imagine that! A person can run the business strictly online or they can run the business strictly offline but to do both....mmmmm.

And it's global.

And it's still coming out with services/products that makes it even more attractive.

Man, oh man. It just keeps getting better and better even when I thought it was as good as it gets.

So, again, I think the internet based businesses will be the most successful but again, the internet is not an absolute necessity.

Thanks,

Mike Pressnell

Please let me clarify one of the statements I made above.

I said it doesn't cost anything ever to run the business...and that's true. However, to be more successful a person might want to spend just a very little for things like business cards (they can start out by printing just a few on the computer) or flyers or whatever. But, it is not necessary to even spend money on things like that.

I have a feeling the most consistent big money will come from the new CPM advertising models (CPM is cost per thousand). In these, you get paid "X" for every 1000 people who see the ads. With the number of people online, the ease of getting people to surf through with all the social bookmarking, and people finally realizing there's no such thing as a free lunch, this will become the biggest moneymaker for small-scale business people.

That's the thing, as people get more savvy when it comes to the internet (it almost seems silly if you've been online 12 years) they realize the ads are ADS. Whatever the path is, at the end someone is going to ask you to pay them.

That's why I, personally feel like clickthrough rates and people willing to sign up for something are going to diminish gradually.

There will always be money to be made there, I just think it will take a lot more work and knowledge to make that money.
