Hi all,
I have just signed up as a VigLink affiliate.
As I am not a US resident, one of their requirements is that I need to complete a W-8BEN tax form, which is something I've never had to do before.
I don't have a problem in doing this, but whilst I've been looking around for information as to how to fill the form in (it's a bit complicated), I've read that quite a lot of people strongly recommend not giving any details on the form apart from your name and address.
Does anyone have any experience of this type of form? If so, I'd be grateful for any advice please.
Thanks,
Regards,
Sherrie

SherrieB: I've read that quite a lot of people strongly recommend not giving any details on the form apart from your name and address. Any other info other than name and address is optional. Please check the fields.

Sherrie,
The fields that you don't want to fill out, don't.
They may need your address in order to send you commissions so make sure that you fill out the spots that you HAVE to.

Part1 and sign.

Thanks for your reply Barb,
I have seen a lot of conflicting information - some say don't bother, others say it's a necessity.
I've just given the bare minimum of information and no-one has come back to me yet to ask for more details, so I'll wait and see what happens.
Thanks again,
Regards,
Sherrie
