Being able to motivate yourself is critical for the work at home employee. In an office situation, you have a supervisor and co-workers who motivate you to complete your work but when you are working at home, you only have yourself to push you to succeed.

Negative motivation is about all I have right now. I mean I get motivated when I start thinking about the wolves howling at the door!

Yes, it's true, you only have yourself, but remember: You Are Powerful!!!
One of the best ways to motivate yourself is to keep your dreams forefront in your mind at all times. Make a vision board and hang it in plain view in your home office workspace. Make a scrapbook and fill it with images of everything you want in your life. Look through it every day.
Put little motivational sayings on sticky notes and put them up all over your house and every time you encounter one, repeat the saying to yourself, out loud, passionately and with great conviction.
You must keep your dreams in front of you at all times - they are the fuel for your journey. It is your dreams that will keep the wolves from the door and help you make the changes you want to see in your life.
And most importantly, BELIEVE that you can live the life that you dream of - BELIEVE it right down to the tips of your itty bitty baby toes, and see the life you wish for clearly in your mind - this is what will power you forward
Cheers and Happy Journey!
Morgana

Sticky Notes are very successful in keeping you on task. I find a rushing music gets me going with my web page. Also, there's a movie that hypes me up mentally for long terms. It's called THE SECRET. It is really success in helping you AUTOMATICALLY think positive for POSITIVE results.

ohhh - The Secret is outstanding! I watch it at least once a week. It's an excellent reminder to be aware of what you are thinking about, and that you create your reality. Brilliant!
Cheers!

The Secret was sooooooo good, I purchased it on audio and listen to it when I am on the road.
Another good source of motivation is "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olsen. He points out that it is the actions we take daily that either move us up the road of success or down the road of failure. (I also purchased this one on audio)
I am on the road a lot sometimes and it really is important what we are feeding our brains... my opinion - better to listen to something that will help me grow my mind than sad songs, talk radio, or other things that aren't really feeding positive thoughts to my mind.

Have you listened to 'The Strangest Secret' by Earl Nightingale..? That is also a powerful tool. You can download it for free off of Mark Victor Hansen dot com.
