If that is what you really want to do then I would say to go for it. Sometimes it's alot for people to come up with the money for a home business no matter how strong their desire is. One thing you have to think about with a home business is....you need to look at opportunities that have a marketing system in place, that have excellent training and show you exactly how and where to market using FREE or paid methods. Of course the product is what you want to draw people in. That's what great about my opportunity, my product teaches people exactly how to market and drive traffic to ANY website. It's something that anyone with a business needs, so there's a HUGE market for it.
If you normally wouldn't have the money for a home based business opportunity and this is something that you truly desire, I would do it. Hope that helps!

Oh, I wasn't putting a dollar sign out there, I was just saying that if you really truly want to do this and have the extra cash, then do your due diligence and go for it. I wish you the best!

Hello gailita, Absolutely without a doubt you should invest your tax return. This will give you the ability to sieze opportunities when you need to. I agree with CSGWAHM .. the internet is full of endless opportinities..so much so that you can become confused and possibly frustrated.(Hopefully not)
Remember there is no such thing as something for nothing..every home business takes effort and persistence. Stay away from get rich quick schemes, those are scams.
I highly reccomend The Wealthy Affiliate University also, where you can learn various aspects of marketing, without a large commitment. If you wish to try retail, I would suggest eBay, which is very user-friendly. If you ever need help, please feel free to contact me! Have a prosperous day! Victoria

I would absolutely invest it - even if you have only a few hundred dollars... better to have a chance at increasing that few hundred than to pay off a bill that you will get paid somehow
Just don't get overwhelmed with it all!

Of course you should invest it! I'm not saying that it has to be in a home based business. If that's where you want to invest, that's great. If it's not in your own business, that's alright too. Just make sure you invest, at least some of it, somewhere!

I agree, it is a good idea to think about investing in a business. Or at least investing in yourself with some self development. www.DaniJohnson.com is a good place to start with the self development.
But I would take my time. I have lost money on some programs because I didn't do enough due diligence. I wish I would have found this forum before I made the bad choices. But I have learned a lot through it all, so all is not lost.
This is a great place to start. Begin by reading the signature lines that appeal to you and check out any opportunities that interest you and go from there.
Good Luck, Becky
