Let's face it, we're all on line to promote our business. There are those people out there that will stop at nothing to say that your business is such a scam and to try theirs. C'mon, you know who you are! The scammers will degrade your business saying that they were scammed 10 times and now they found the perfect business that's better than sliced bread. The legit businesses out there have to work harder to show the marketer that's looking to start his or her home business that's it's a legit business. So we work harder. We win in the long run. They push us to do very well, all a while, the scammers are not making any money at all. The bottom line is, I will never say that a home base business is a scam just so someone can try mine. That's not what I'm about. If you don't like what you see in my business, that's OK. You'll find a business that's right for you.
To your success, Michelle

Well said Michelle. I can't stand it when someone bad mouths a business in a clear effort to promote their own particular business. The vast majority of businesses out there aren't scams but some simply are better than others. A lot of people will consider something a scam simply because they aren't making 6 figures within a few months. Anyone who looks into starting a business from home needs to properly research that opportunity and decide if it's a fit for them.

Yes, what you say is very true, many people feel that online businesses are scams

You should always steer clear of badmouthing anothers business, online or offline.
If you put those negative vibes out there you will only attract people who positively react to negativity. That is NOT someone you want as a customer or business associate.
Forget about those who use negative tactics to obtain new business. You really do not want any one who falls for that marketing technique any where near your business. Positive energy breeds positive results and thats what we are all here to see.

It helps to do research ahead of time - forums like this help, and websites like the Ripoffreport.com can help you identify scams ahead of time.

Ripoffreport is OK but just make sure any complaints you find there are not just a disgruntled employee or something like that.
Sometimes ripoffreport gives you a one sided complaint that is not valid. If there is no rebuttal you can bet the company in which the complaint was filed against has no idea the complaint is even there. So without both sides of any argument, there sometimed is no way you can judge what is true or not.
After all, there is no fee to file a complaint and if I am not mistaken, ripoffreport makes no effort to contact the company being complained about. The BBB is a much better way to do an investigation but may be hard to use for some online businesses.
But I do agree with getagrip that forums like this are ther way to go as far as looking into a business.

I think you got to talk to a lot of different individuals to decide if it's true or false. Although, forums and other sources help in making the decision.

Your right. Gret businesses don't bad mouth other businesses.
Thank you for the reply.
