PS
I just went through a VistaPrint scam. They offered free business cards but I upgraded to premium. Then they said I joined some members club at 14.95 a month and made two unuathorized withdrawals from my bank. My bank had to delete my account and reissue my card. When the BBB got them to reimburse me after two months of stress and the most assinine antics with phone messages and e mails, they reimbursed me one of the charges.
Go the Better Business Bureau. I had more action out of them than The Attorney General, consumer protection, and the Federal Trade Commission.

That's odd...i always order from vistaprint...everything from business cards, to postcards, to address labels and never had a problem. The promotional email you got: was it from them or from a third party?
Because sometimes I get these emails directly from them, and other times from some 3rd party advertisers...if its from the 3rd party, maybe they were doing the scam?
Sorry you went thru all that...i just find it hard to believe being that I've been ordering from them for like 2 years very often...

Sorry to hear about that!
I have placed several orders thru VistaPrint. All of them have come exactly as described. I even had a custom order done.
As irenem said, maybe it was a 3rd party. I have been using them for over a year with no problems.
Better luck next time...

I have no problem with their products and prices I am just angry that they trick you into the scam by telling you something is free and hide the real charges in small print.

what was the club? you have to watch when you sign up through third party people. Their fine print is on a seprate page found by clicking on the little bitty "terms of service agreement" or something like that. You probably agreed to allow the "third party" to bill you for "their" membership club.
Been there done that. It wasn't vista print though. I was being billed for voice mail service when I didn't even have a phone!! I used my roommates phone then. I didn't get any of my money back either. I was so mad.
I ALWAYS read the fine print on the little bitty TOS links. You would be shocked what people agree to without realizing it.

Hi Folks,
I really wanted the Vista print business card deal. So I called the main customer service and explained what happened last time. The woman was quite pleasant and told me how to avoid inadvertantly becoming a member with monthly charges.
She explained as soon as I've placed my order close out the screen. Do not respond to the add that says save $12 NOW. That's what happened so I hope I will join you in saying Visat print is a great deal!
Yours Peter

I have had great success with Vista Print and found the quality of the products and savings to be significant. However, when ordering at the end, you do have to be careful by not clicking on to and and agreeing to the purchases on the extra pop up screens that offer memberships, etc. through third parties - unless you want those services of course!

Vistaprint has worked out well for me with no problems. Maybe you mistakenly clicked on the wrong link.
