Hello, I was recently researching online jobs and came across a marketing job that didnt sound very lagit but found out my friend had been with it for months and is making pretty good money. All she does is register new customers for the company. she said the only real investment is that the company asks you to buy product just so you can tell people how great they are, which they are ive been to her house and seen some of the items and even tried a few things for myself. i think its legit but some people think its a scam, how can i help her explain to people that it works. and isnt a scam. i think some people think just because you work from home that its supposed o be free. i mean when you start a business there is time and money invested, you have to buy materials and pay for advertising, and all i mean come on, i didnt get paid for those mystery shops or the survey sites but she makes a full paycheck every month but yet people wanna sit at the computer everyday more hours than she does just to make 5 dollars..

What's the company she works for?
But as far as trying to convince others that it is legit? Hang it up.
We all gave up eons ago - most of my friends have no clue what I do to make money from home. I don't bother trying to convince them as I have more imprtant things to do!

well she works for melaleuca..they make some different all natural products although some are questionable, i like them, well i guess im a good friend since i know what she does.. she try to convince me to work for her but im still deciding..i know its legit cuz i have to take her to the bank to cash her check....ive seen the people who are upfront but some like to waste her time and ask 100 emails worth of questions or keep her on the phone for an hour just to say no...i like sitting and listening to her lead calls..its so funny..some are just clueless.. theyd rather waste time that make money.

Melaluca is a well established nutritional network marketing business. They have some great products.
If you are looking to get into a network marketing business and have someone as a close friend that may be able to help you succeed then consider it.
Just inquire as to what the marketing strategy is for success. I'm sure she didn't get to that point overnight but with consistency and commitment to the business.
As to people saying scam. Just keep on moving. There will always be naysayers, and most don't have a anything productive going on themselves and aren't worth the conversation.

It sounds like it is a legitimate company, although I would find out how much it costs to join. Also, realize that if you get into this business, you will need to sign people up for the business and sell products to other people to be profitable - is that something you are willing to do?

i mean i could do it but it will be ard to get started..i dont want to use the same websites she does to advertise. and i know she didnt succeed for almost 2 months so it would be hard but i might give it a try i mean its 100% guaranteed the first month so i guess i can take that risk..it isnt much

How much is it going to cost you to join? If you have the extra money, it should be ok, but if you "barely" have that money to invest and will be "scraping by" as a result of that investment, I wouldn't do it...

its $1 this month..usually its 29.. plus you are asked to become a customer and order between 60-100 a month in product..but since i know most the products i know what i would buy so it wouldnt be to bad..and all the products are 100% guaranteed..but my prob is the marketing..i would have to do some research on websites .. i dont wana advertise the same pages she does bacause there are so many and it would be a waste of time to advertise with abunch of people doing the same job..

$1 sounds good, but I would read the fine print to make sure you aren't missing anything. If you are familiar with the products, I wouldn't worry about making the investment for them. If they do not offer online marketing training, you are going to run into trouble, but if they do offer good training or you are familiar with online marketing methods, you should be ok, but whether or not people will buy from you is a different story. Also, you may find that you need to be creative in your marketing approach to differentiate yourself from what your competitors in the same niche are already doing. For example, you could write an article about a specific problem people have, and explain how the product you are trying to sell provides a solution to that problem and link back to your website.

The problem I see in your questions is what most network marketing newbies face. You are looking for a business here that will produce an income for you but the monthly cost may even be an issue for you already.
If you can't add at least $50.00 a month on advertising your business, you will be doomed from the beginning. Most uplines don't tell their people going into the business that the product cost are just part of story.
You need a FREE system to market your primary business as you grow.
To your success,
