Hello All!

Was surfing and kind of "bumped into" this forum. I have been researching and reading about internet marketing for about 4 months now. Have also bought some programs some good but most just bad and overpriced. One underlying thread through all is to "just do it", just take some action. So I did. I stopped searching the web for "the next big thing" and made myself follow the steps of one of the good programs I bought. I have 5 sites up and one is on the first page of google, but no sales yet. I am into Wordpress and am following the niche blogger and Nick Madison's Fast Track from the WSO forum. I keep tweaking the sites and am learning as I go. I've written one article, have yet to send it in tho, and plan to write a ton more and submit to all the directories at once as a test and see what happens. I'm still doing keyword research and am trying to build 1 site a week.
I've been looking for a forum to talk to other people about internet marketing as your regular friends "just don't get it" and internet marketing is a lonely job. You sometimes feel you are out here alone without a net.

Anyway, that's where I am right now with IM. I am very determined to make this succeed. My goal is to be making $300 a day and am also following the Xfactor method.

Where is everybody else in their internet marketing career?

Daisy

Welcome to the forum Daisy. You've come to the right place. You can get tons of good ideas here and help if you need it.

Just a suggestion that struck me, you have one article written, why not submit that one article and see how it goes? That way you can get a feel to see if your article gets accepted, if not, you'll find out how to tweak it. Some directories won't allow you to put in an affiliate link but will let you link to your website, some won't allow you to put in a link inside the body of your article but you can in your signature box.

Just getting into article marketing myself because of My Online Income Success. May I suggest going to this link. It's free and not an affiliate link. Really great information about article marketing if you haven't already found it.

Good luck and much success.

I also found a post in this forum about the pros and cons of mass article submissions.

Any benefit to article submissions directories?

Hope this helps.

Hi Daisy and welcome! I agree with krazylady, you can get some great ideas from bum marketing. I would also continue to write as many articles as possible because that's a free way to get exposure to your websites. It sounds as though you are on the right track just keep plugging away because it does take time to see the fruits of your labor but if you stay focused and determined it will definitely pay off. Try Linking your article to your website then link your website to your blog and link your blog to your press release etc. This is a great way to ad content to your websites and everyone knows that the more content your site has the better your search engine rankings and the more exposure you will get. Hope this is helpful. Blessings to you!
