Can you give us a little info on what you have done exactly and what you are doing now... maybe we can direct you in the right way... or at least try to.

Welcome by the way.

Hi jacqui,

I'm sorry you're distressed.

If you want help, you'll have to be specific.

What do you know? Where exactly are you stuck? What would you like to learn and what do you think will be your primary earning methods?

We can't read your mind or know what you've tried so far. You'll have to ask specific questions.

I would recommend you buy My Online Income System the program is only $47.00 and she gives you a 60 day action plan on how to get started and promote your website. this system is for anybody because it literally takes you by the hand and walk you through starting your own online business.

Yikes, if I see that My Online Income System being punted again today I am gonna just plutz! Yes its great for beginners and its not expensive to buy particularly as its being discounted now too.

But

Come on guys before just throwing that out there at least try and find out what the person has done or tried ... show interest in them first and then guide them ....... (sigh)

right - back to you jacqui

You say you have tried 2 other businesses - what have you tried ? Maybe you are missing some steps which are vital to them being successful. Seen as you have already spent the money on them lets see if we can't get them to work first, yeah?

It may also be that you have everything in place and it just needs tweeking.

So, give us some more info and let us help.

Thanks

I agree with ZiggyZoo... Do not throw more money out on anything else until you know you have exhausted attempts to get what you already have going.

What have you started so far in regards to getting these two businesses in front of prospects eyes?

Sorry to hear about your predicament. To hear that you have lost thousands means you believe such effort would work out which was not exactly so, that's why it's always advisable to do research before investing in anything online.

If you're trying to earn money fast, I don't know of any such animal.

I agree with everyone else, tell what you've already tried, and how long you've given the business to take hold. I agree don't spend anymore money.

Give more information about the 2 businesses, what exactly don't you understand to get started?

Jacqui,

The best advice I can think of right now is don't take on any more debt. If you cannot pay cash for a program, don't buy it. Personally, I don't like those expensive programs anyway. There are too many good ones for under $100.

I'd first consider what skills I had to use or to offer for making money online. Like if you like to write, whether its articles, blog posts, or something similar, you might go to elance.com and see what jobs are available. There are many other types of jobs offered as well, so you can pick what suits you the best. This short term job could turn into a longer term if the person needs new material all the time.

Also, for $0, you can sign up as an affiliate for a product or service that you feel comfortable recommending to others. Marketing could be done again by writing a simple review, posting it in Ezinearticles.com or other article sites, including your affiliate url in your signature. Ezinearticles has a wonderful guide on writing, free.

I wonder what happened to Jacqui - we have not heard from her since her original post on 7th Sept and a lot of useful information has been provided.

I sure hope she was able to put it to good use and has been able to sort out her predicament.

Jacqui, for the meantime, don't spend any more money on affiliate programs. You're not financially ready to take that on yet. Affiliate marketing will take some time to build.

My recommendation is, if you're still planning to work online, to write articles for upfront pay. (e.g. $5-$10+ per article).

I recommend you check out PersonalMoneyStore.com. It's a pay day loan site, but if you go to the bottom and see the section that says "freelance", check it out. I've been paid by them before.

They pay you by PayPal every Monday or Tuesday.

Another site that you can check out to give you a list of content sites that pay is FreelanceHomewriter.blogspot.com.

Jacqui,

I am sure that you are aware that they are many ways to make money on the internet.

#1 if you are going to truly make money online there are some things that you will have to begin to take hold of ASAP.

- First, you have to become a HUMAN MARKETER. Without getting a degree in becoming a human marketer...the easiest way to do this is to pick up some books on COPYWRITING, and read them until the light bulb comes on. DAN KENNEDY has a GREAT copywriting book out.

He is responsible for many of the multimillionaire marketers today!

No matter what product, service, or opportunity that you are promoting...if you don't have this one skill...you will lose big time in the end.

Hope this helps!

Hi Jacqui,
Hope after all this time you have resolved your problems. Dont give up on MLM or work at home businesses.I assume that is what you have been doing. The biggest mistake that people make is that they give up or quit before they even give it a decent go.
As for some being scams... Yes they are out there but realisticly, if the company has been around for a few years and you can see that it has a track record you are very safe. Real scams don't last long anymore and you only need to do a little research to know whether the business is legitimate. Many people don't understand the concept of network marketing or MLM.
For anyone out there who is just getting started in an MLM business, if you dont make money in the first few days, weeks or even months, don't get discouraged or label the business as a scam straight away. Most of the time the reason you haven't made money is because you have not put in any effort. You need to treat MLM the same way you would a traditional business bucause this is what it is minus the expensive startup costs, initial stock, franchise fees, advertising costs etc. If you spent $100,000 on a business do you think you would give it a bit more than a few weeks to make money? Most traditional business barely break even in the first few years. Most of us join MLM part time. What I am saying here is that you can't expect MLM to work unless you treat it like a real business and put in some effort first.

Now back to Jacqui again. What I have to say about the money you lost is please next time do some research on the businesses you are interested in. Make sure you meet your upline and their upline and others in your team. It is important to know before you join any company that you will have the support of your team. The person who sponsored you into the business should go through the steps to getting started and how the business operates.
If you can get hold of your upline for any of the business you are currently involved in, they will be able to help you get started. If you can't get help from a direct upline, go higher until you find someone to help you. It is in your team's best interest to help you make money. That is the whole point of MLM.

Having said all that, if you are still having trouble getting help from upline you might decide to cut your losses and look for something else. There are plenty of great business opportunities that anyone can do part time or full time. Remember to do your research first.

If anyone else could benefit from my advice I am happy to help anytime. Please feel free to contact me.

Kind regards, Narelle
