I've had VampHost for hosting my main website for the past 3 years. Earl in April they closed thier doors, turned out the lights and
shut down their phones....

Anyone have any ideas how I can recover my domain name.
We're talking 3 hears of SEO work down the drain if I can't

If you registered your domain with them and it has expired, try to register it at another place like Godaddy or Namecheap. It this happened recently, there may be a chance that your domain became available again and is not registered yet. Best of luck.

Last report VampHost was hosted by GoDaddy.
Contact GoDaddy about transferring the name to your own account.
Any receipts you have would be helpful in proving it was yours.
