Hey guys, I have now finished the MOIS course and have currently made around 90US dollars! YAY!
I was wondering what I should do from here.
Should I reinvest in another program? If so, can anyone give any suggestions as to which programs to buy? As I have not received my clickbank check (that 5 credit card numbers rule), I am looking for a relatively cheap product.
Or should I just keep using the techniques I was taught in MOIS? Any suggestions would be much appreciated
thanks, srama3

Have you went through MOIS 2? That helps you with more opportunities. My suggestion would be to continue learning. There are some other great programs out there. All of them operate about the same but they have different perks. I also have finished MOIS and the next programs on my list are One Week Marketing and then on to Wealthy Affiliate. One Week Marketing helps you to hone in your skills and guides you in a set schedule to get more use out of your time.

Hi srama3, Way to go! Mois is a great system. The next step is what I am all about as well. I actually did steps 50 to 60 over like 5 times and had really good results, so while your deciding i would keep the marketing activity up and running! Im looking for something that is not going to review what I have already learned, sort of a 200 level course. I'm after MOIS 2 or Mass control. Not sure yet.

By the way, I haven't gone through MOIS2 yet, would that be my next step? Has anybody got any experience on that program? srama3

Hmmm...I got the impression that MOIS could get you to $100s/day level?

Hey srama3,
Would it be easy enough for you to multiply your income stream?
Did you notice any particular parts of the MOIS course that worked well for you and any which didn't?
Have you been getting good traffic?
How good have the conversions been?
Have you developed a mailing list?
Have you opened out into another niche using the same principles taught by MOIS?
These are questions I ask myself. Hopefully the answers would tell me what I need to concentrate on and what I need to do more research into.
It's one thing completing the program and making some money but it's another thing knowing the program and its principles inside out and then finding your own ways to improve on them.
If you can pick out what works really well and maybe throw in some of your own good ideas then all of a sudden... you've got a product of your own to sell!
Hope that provides some food for thought...
Good luck to all,
IP

I agree with innerpeace. And if you can make $90.00 once, then you can do it again and again. You just have to move into action mode. I have 6 lens and 2 blogs and its getting better every day. Just keep creating and using the techniques that work and then move onto another niche and repeat. I too used one week marketing and this is when it started to turn around for me. Bum marketing which is free has some good information as well.

Good for you srama3. You have received great advice in this thread. I actually backed into affiliate marketing. My main program was doing well when I decided to offer a couple of Clickbank products I had purchased and used successfully. I did very little marketing, two videos, a few articles, blog posts, Squidoo Lens and sent a couple of emails to my list.
I didn't even check the results for several days but when I did I was pleasantly surprised to find several $50+ days. I then beefed up my marketing and about four days later I was seeing $120+ days. I realized that wasn't huge money in affiliate marketing but I knew this was an area of internet marketing I had ignored for too long.
I have been doing affiliate marketing successfully ever since. MOIS is very good for newbies. I bought it and flew through the 60 day plan in about 2 days (now studying MOIS2). I like the Clickbank Code and copyNprofit too.

robinincarolina: And if you can make $90.00 once, then you can do it again and again. I agree too... OWM teaches how to do the same steps over and over to keep enhancing your campaigns...

The MOIS is a great program for beginners. It has worked well for me and I think the next step is eventualy wealthy affiliates. It is a more advanced course that will take marketing to the next level. good advice by everyone.

I agree that MOIS is a great beginners course, and I have learned so much in the past couple of weeks I have been reading. It seems there is a lot to digest, but still feel a bit skeptical? How many other people using these techniques see results? And, how long does it take to see these results?
I know I need to put forth time and effort(it seems impossible to do when chasing babies all day long), but I guess I was just hoping to make at least one sale in the first 30 days of the course.
Any advice or feedback from those who have completed the course?

There are so many variables so it is hard to guarantee anything. Some do and others don't make any money within the first few weeks or months.... the way I looked at it when I got started was that at least I HAD a way and a possibility of making some extra money whereas most of my friends don't even know this stuff exists.

lauren227nicole, I felt the same way when I started...frustrated, overwhelmed..head about to explode! I was looking to make money right out the gate as well and then it occured to me that not only was I starting a new career (with no education, no experience etc.), I was starting a new business! Both of these take time. A lot more than I was willing to giving it. Yes, some people make money in the first few weeks, but I didn't because there was so much I needed to learn, comprehend and then DO. It will help if you don't pressure yourself like I did. The other thing I should have done more of is just review. After I re-read the program the second time it made more sense and I started moving faster through the program. Don't give up and take one day at a time. You WILL get there. Take Care

Hi srama,
Glad you made a sale :)
I would make sure that you know the concepts well from the MOIS program.
If you feel you still need more education before you make a go of it, then scope out other programs.
You've been around the forum long enough to know which programs we think are a good choice and good fit so you shouldn't have any trouble picking one.
If you feel pretty confident about your learning and experimentation it may be time to look into either SBI or getting a hosting account yourself.
It's your own call.
Good luck,
~Newbie Shield~

Personally I would stick with the things taught in MOIS. Just keep writing articles and refining your landing pages until you move on to something else.

MOIS 2 focuses on the other side of affiliate marketing, making a product and selling it. I think it is a good idea to go through this course, but only when you are either out of ideas or feel confident in what you learned from MOIS 1. I think Newbie Shield's recommendation of SBI is a good one. Definitely a good place to build your site if your knowledge is still somewhat limited.

I am not quite to the point where I think about what will happen after MOIS. In all liklihood once I am done with the program I will all but ignore programs that teach people how to make money, far to much competition, and stick with the niches I am already drifting towards.
What I do however intend to do once I am done with the program and making something akin to reliable income, say 25 dollars a week, is track down someone who can help me create a decent website.
When I started with MOIS it was 2008 and the free website you could get really sucked in my opinion and you couldn't do anything with it, so I canceled the website, tried to sort of work through the program using squido and other genuinely free websites and failed dismally.
I did however purchase my own personal website with the hope of making it work for affiliate marketing and Eagles Outpost is the result. Its functional, but that's about it and I really want to make it better.
I purchased a second copy of MOIS this june and have gotten through the first30 days of the program in about 45 days and have since smashed into a mental barrier I am having a hard time getting around. I think I need a date with a pretty girl, but lets not go there. I have however come to the conclusion that my website is woefully inadequate for the job it must do and thus want to get help making it better.
So finally coming to the point I sort of mentioned in the first paragraph, if you are financially secure, consider learning web design as a next step, if you don't already have the skill, then you can start doing a lot more custom promoting.
