I agree with a getagrip on this one. Building a successful business from home takes time, trial and error, and more time. That is part of the "work" that it truly takes to succeed. Successul home-based businesses are not made by the waving of a magic wand or even hype. Results take time and once that occurs, the fun begins on maintaining or exceeding those results. I still would rather have this kind of work and make money than dealing with a difficult boss, gossipy co-workers, and a stressful commute.

Computer ruler, Wealthy affiliate is actually a pretty great site for any internet marketers, I joined a couple months back. What's great about it is that if you are a complete moron when it comes to internet marketing, they have a whole beginners tutorial for you to go through, it will literally break everything down step by step and you can watch video tutorials and everything, the support is phenomenal the only downfall is that you do have a monthly charge, now the program I am currently working with is a one time fee and pretty much turn key along with almost instant help if you're stuck somewhere along the way. I don't expect to be a millionare doing it but have made more doing this than on other programs I have wasted hundreds of dollars on behind by husbands back. Best of luck getting started, I think reading these forums pretty consitently can give you some really good ideas and help you learn what not to do.

I have to agree with PrincessSRH - Wealthy Affiliate is an excellent place to get top-notch internet marketing training. Their course is step by step and explains everything in detail so that when you are finished you will have gained all the knowledge there is to know about Affiliate Marketing and more.

Plus the some of the guys in the forum are all seasoned Affiliate Marketers who have been in the business for years and are always willing to help fellow members out.

Investing in training is always money well spent. I would suggest that you invest in your training and then build your online business from there.

If you have any more questions just ask ... someone will always try and help you.

all the best and take care.

I also agree with getting training! You have to be so careful due to all of the schemes online now. I have tried several and been scammed as well! Good Luck on your journey and God Bless!

It sometimes seems to me that there are more scammers in this country than there are good and honest people. Seems like they grow in numbers faster and faster as each year goes by. And yes, I too have been scammed. It is not easy to get over that. I was mighty bitter about what happen for a long time. I'm just one of those guys though that believes there are good things to come and better people meet and get to know. You have to be extremely causious about whats out there. But in the long run I think that good people will take this country back again!

I agree with all the "learn by doing" comments. Don't wait until you know everything. Learn how to get into an affiliate marketing program. Clickbank, Pay Dot Com, and others. Learn how to set up your website. Learn different ways to promote your website. But don't try to learn everything before you start. You can stand there and listen to an instructor talk to you about how to stay afloat and different strokes you can make, but the only way you're going to learn how to swim is jump in the water.

Don't blow off those 5 things. Some of those small change jobs are super simple and the money can add up really quickly. (I'm not really talking about GPTS, although those can add up as well.)

I recently joined a program on Facebook that has little jobs available to their members that pay 4 to $2.00 each. I'm only on it for 15-30 minutes a day, but I've already made almost $30 in 4 days.

Again, the pay is small but it really adds up and every little bit helps. Even if you're only making $5 in 15 minutes, that's still $150 a month which is great for groceries, the electric bill, or Christmas shopping (tis the season).

You can also try writing for freelance sites, although it takes a bit to build up a library and start getting hits.

Paid survey sites can add up nicely as well, although it can take a while for them to process to your account.

I'm not really big on biz opps or anything that requires investment but that's just me lol

Your thinking quick on your feat by staying away from those "paid to read" emails or surveys.

I've tried them all, and I was better off workinga 9 to 5.

The in your business venture, is passive income and to build an asset.

You can do it with surveys.

You can't do it with ebay (unless you use it in a way to build an asset)

you can't do it without investing in your business.

The asset I'm referring to is your list.

Build a list by offering a free report of some kind (kinda like the one in my sig).

The report can be one you create or a combination of plr articles, but the idea is to give tons of value, and people will volunteer to pay you.

But please, build your list.

Start out with a Plug in Profit site and you won't go wrong.

The training is superb and they have their own section on the Warrior forum to answer all and every question.

1 Have a passion for what you are doing, this will be the difference between success and failure.

2 Make absolutley sure you have the proper training and techniques to follow, otherwise you will not no were to start

3 Make sure you treat your new home business like a job, do not let yourself get side tracked, have a set time to do certain things with no distractions.

I am relatively new to the internet business but have learned a great deal through this forum. All the books I have read don't come close to the information on this forum. A couple of months of reading this forum is like getting a bachelor in internet income.

passion, the best factor when having a business..

secondly,discipline..
-a business man whether he works online or in actual business routine should be responsible in order to reach his goal.

and being positive..
-i always include being "optimistic-thing" in my participation in this kind of forum. you know being in business world is not an easy task and one should be positive whatever he will do.your business depends on how you looked at it and how you perform depends on how you think.

The thing is starting. Understand that this will take time and effort, whatever you do. I would recommend you start with affiliate marketing. It's not much to learn and it's quite easy when you get the hang of it. This method requires work though

It's up to you how much you work. This way could be very lucrative though and the quickest.

Good Luck!

I agree, it takes time and a lot of work to build up a home business. If you are passionate about what you're doing and give it your all it will come together for you in the long run.

I actually address and stuff envelopes at home for about $10/hr. (no, this is not through any product or program!) If found this job on Craigslist and the person needing this done lives sown the street from me!

I also resell for a profit on eBay which is something you also have to build, but a great way to make money quickly. You just have to know what to sell, where to get it, and know how to do the research before listing. You can build this up to a decent full time income, again though it depends on how much time you're willing to devote to building your eBay business.

You also need to focus on what you want to accomplish. Another thing that is very important is what kind of thoughts you are letting into your mind.

If you focus on your goal and only allow positive images to enter your mind, this will make or break your success.

Your attitude (positive attitude) is very important.
