Hey Medgar,

I am new here and when it comes to internet gurus the only advice I can give is be careful!!! Always investigate the site before signing up. Good resources are the federal trade commission and the bbb. Also it is a good idea to check out forums to see if anyone has had a bad experience with any opportunity you are looking into. Hope this helps and good luck.

Hello;

I work full time as an affiliate marketer and copywriter. I make a decent income (nowhere near what these "gurus" make), and I've leaned one VERY IMPORTANT THING:

There is no such thing as an "internet guru!!! These people are literally hyping themselves up to take your cash.

You want to learn how to make money on the internet? Start by learning how to design a basic website, learn how to write a good copy, and then find affiliate offers and drive quality traffic to the landing pages that you create! It is THAT easy.

There is no " internet guru" , everyone learns from scratch. Spend a lot of time reading and experiment, you will also become an expert.

In my opinion, two of the most over rated products written by "gurus" are the Ultimate Wealth Package and Google Cash...there are probably more that could be added to this list, but these are the two that stand out.

All the information you need to get started is available on the internet.

However if you feel the need for a helping hand (I did) then James Martell is a trusted internet guru and as I have done his bootcamp on Affiliate Marketing I can personally vouch for his honesty and integrity.

He has a wealth of knowledge which he freely imparts to his students.

Another trusted source of helpful information is Wil Reynolds

Perhaps I'm in the minority here, but I have found many different people to be "Internet Gurus" for their ability to create income from unique concepts, market themselves, integrity, and quality products.

However everyone's definition of a guru is different, and I believe we all look up to people for different reasons. If you are truly in search of "gurus" and credible products, the best advice I can give is to just do your homework, look for concepts that interest you, and see what your peers say.

If you're not sure about an opportunity, seek out credible reviews, look for complaints, and take advantage of the many helpful people on this forum to help aid your decision.

I hope this helps!

Solomon

Those people listed are my mentors for the program.
They are willing to help those that have difficulties in the program.
And they are already earning money for the program.

I learned a lot of things from them and they will give their best to help people like me.

Hi Medgar

Great question-it is the exact question that led me to cxreate the "Marketing Masters" series.

I was fed up wasting money, buying advice that does not work in todays internet.

I have made some conclussions-the biggest of which is that the internet has changed.I mean look at this forum we are talking and communicating.

The day when pure salesmanship and psychological tricks to motivate sales are a thing of the past.

To anser your question directly-A guru that does not incorparate web 2.0 into his teachings is talking old tactics in a modern world. They might have worked for them several years ago but they are unlikely to work for you today.

Just do a lot of reading in this forum and you'll start to get an idea of which programs people are having the best experience with. There's nothing wrong with being a guru. Some of these gurus know how to accomplish a heck of a lot.

The Rich Jerk comes to mind. He's a little shifty flaky and dishonest, but his educational materials are good nonetheless.
