Hello everyone! I am looking for some help in finding a real work at home job or jobs. I currently work a 40 hour job Monday-Friday. I have my weekends off. I am a divorced, 27 year old guy that is looking to find a work at home job to help pay for the rent of a new place. I hope someone here can help me find a real work at home job, as I have already lost $50.00 to a scam artist.

I just found this forum yesterday, and it looks like there are a lot of smart, helpful, and nice people here. I hope some here can help me. I am looking at needing around $500.00 a month for my work at home job. Does anyone know of any programs that can help me achieve this? I can work on this during the week at night, and on the weekends. I appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks!

You could try affiliate marketing or freelance writing, or even a second job if there is a good job market in your area (and if you live in the Ames area, you should be able to find something).

If you want a JOB at home on your computer so you can pay bills and then you have time left over for e-commerce, then I suggest
www.workathomeagent.com
You answer telephone and take orders from infomercials on tv with flexibility in the hours and make- I'm not sure- but I heard around $10-$15 an hour.
I am still in training, it is a good company I think.
If you want instant money from internet marketing, good luck .

Thanks for responding! I am kind of leaning towards doing surveys, and I would like to get more involved with selling on ebay. I have sold on ebay before, but that was just a few things here and there at my home. How do I get bulk stuff to sell on ebay? I would like to buy in bulk new video games. I have seen and bought from people on ebay that sell many copies of new games that do not come with the box and instructions. I figure they have to be buying these games in bulk, but I can't figure out how they get them. Does anyone know?

I also have looked at happygal's blog about survey sites that pay, and I think I will try that out. How successful are these survey sites? How long will I need to spend on it each day to make a few hundred dollars a month? Thanks for all your help! I look forward to hearing some more comments!

Iowa State: Do yourself a favor and take robertlaf's advice. You are not going to make much money doing survey's. It always sounds like a good idea...but anyone who has been in internet marketing for a while that really the only thing you get from it is a head ache and wasted money. To find a position that allows you to get paid right away like what he was showing you is awsome because most newbies end up loosing a few hundred before they start making money.

There is definitely a learning curve and we all need to fall into those scams every now and again to have an idea what is legitiment and what is not.

Another business that you can make money with right away that has had rave reviews is with the search engine chacha.com

They have real people guide others through the internet like a google and you get paid for it.

I personally find my target audiences on myspace. If you would like to learn a little more about it you can check out my sig. link below.

Good luck to you!!!

If you write well, there are many freelance writing positions available. You can also earn a royalty on photos.

Thanks for all your sugestions! I really don't write all that well. What is everyones impressions of selling on ebay? Where do you find people to sell you stuff in bulk at a good price, so you can turn around and sell it on ebay? Does anyone know how to do this? I have sold some stuff before on ebay, but I would like to do this on a larger scale. I enjoyed selling on ebay before, so I think this would be a natural thing to do. I will also try out the survey sites that happygal has on her blog. Thanks to everyone that has responded!

A real job online?

I would suggest that you either go into network marketing or affiliate marekting.

Don't worry. We all got scammed online at one time or another.

For me, I lost a lot of money online but you learn all the time.

IowaState5:

You started another thread recently asking about Ebay, a few of us replied with long answers - no response from you.

It is difficult for us to help if WE don't get YOUR feedback!

Cheers!!

I just started the system The Ultimate Wealth Package and I made over $1000 in the past two weeks. If you sign up you dont have to buy the pro package (Your own domain and etc.) but it is suppose to earn you more money. I just have the basic and I've earned a decent amount.

IowaState5, if you do research for your work-at-home business, make sure that your monthly expenses to stay in the business (to be qualified) do not exeed 75USD/month.

Otherwise it's likely to spend too much money on the products in the long run.

Besides, try to find products of a niche market.

Regards, Peter
