And is the economy affecting peoples commissions, I'm doing ok slowing down a little but not too much. Please let's see some reviews from affiliates of Clickbank and Google Adwords...

I market some Clickbank products, but instead of paying for traffic, I get it free through the search engines. You don't earn as much this way, but its a lot lower risk because you don't have to worry about racking up advertising costs...but if you are good at Google Adwords, more power to you.

I used Adwords for a while but couldn't get the hang of it. I started using the right websites to get listed in the search engines and I'm realizing a higher profit than when I used Adwords.

I use clickbank along with some other affiliate programs. I don't even know what google adwords is, I am assuming its ppc? Someone tell me if I am right or wrong. I like getagrip go the free route, me, my squidoo, blogs, clickbank and ezine make a pretty good team along with some other tricks I learned from here.

I got my mug yesterday by the way and am now platinum with Ezine. Knew my writing would pay off one day. Pat on the back to me.

I promote a few products from Clickbank, but never use ppc advertising. Too risky for me.

I use article marketing, blogging, classified ads, SEO and building backlinks to my sites to generate traffic.

Way to go!!!!

I am right there with you'all... free ways and writing for me. I'd rather have money coming in than going out - lol

But I do realize that if you know what you are doing with adwords it ca be a great thing and that is one of my goals in the near future to learn more about it, and hopefully utilize it.

I am convinced though, that PotPieGirl is right... about that all the stuff we learn about seo, keywords, etc through writing will help us tremendously once we get to the whole adwords thing.

google adword is more effective than free method if they applied the right techniques, do not do the google adword if you dont have a very good knowledge about it. what is important in google adword is the keyword. find the keyword that many people searching for and make sure there are less competitor in google adword for that keyword. there are some guides for this google adword, make sure you pick a really nice one

Hi Robin: *pat-pat-pat* and yes, Google Adwords is PPC.

jayorban: PPC is good for a later on kind of thing. As has been mentioned above and many times before on this forum and elsewhere, it's best to start earning from free traffic.

Before running a PPC campaign, your goals must be clear and your math must be carefully worked out. You have to monitor it, know how to tweak it, and know when to kill a campaign.

Yes, it can be quite profitable, but only if you know what you're doing.

I use clickbank products along with others. I do not use adwords and seem to be doing well without it. May try it in the future.

I am a newbie at all of this and would like to promote clickbank products but don't have a budget right now to spend on ads. You guys mentioned you use free advertising, what are some good sites to use for that?

Google Adword and clickbank is also the combination I use as well to make a second income. I like using Google adword because I can see what words people are actually searching for.

Hi tmcdllr

Like the others I also go for free advertising and you can do this by blogging (wordpress, weebly or blogger.com), article marketing (ezinearticles, articlebase, goarticles etc) or placing ads in classifieds (USfreeads)

Hope that helps.
