Some of the best information I've seen on Google AdSense is in a book called _The AdSense Code_ by Joel Comm. It is available from Amazon.

There's so much information out there about how to do this, free and at a cost.
I do adsense and what I learned was through trial and error, and alot of information sites. I can't say what works for me will work for anybody else, but here goes. Seems you have keys words that get you a look but not a click. I use Google's keyword tool.
Take a look if you haven't already.

This will give you a good idea of the number of searches for your key word and the competition. It may be that you have picked highly competitive keywords. Try for lower competitive words. Remember clicks don't mean sales, they just mean someone looked at your site.

Are you trying to put adsense on your site or blog? If so, you have to have a lot of traffic toward your site and hope that the ads shown will be enticing enough for people to want to click.
You need a ton of traffic to make any money on one site with adsense. Thats pretty much the only thing with trying to make money with adsense. Massive traffic..

Make sure your Google ads are relevant to your targeted audience. If your visitors aren't targeted then they will most likely have no interest in the ads on your site.
