Hello everyone!
I am looking for some extra income. I would love to have a job that pays by a piece rate that between me and my wife we could do it in our spair time. We are not really keen about call centers. Probably data entry, billing, account, or something of that sort.
Does anyone have any idea where I could look for that?
Many thanks!

I have a friend that does the kgb.com - it is not big money but they do it in their spare time.
or you could do photos - there are places that pay you for photos. I am not sure what those sites are but if you search for it in the space below (on this forum) there is a list somewhere for that.
As far as data entry - nope. That is a GOOD way to get scammed.
Writing articles is another way.
In my years of online stuff, I have never found anything you can do as far as getting paid by the piece that pays much, not even min wage.... I am sure if there was such a thing, everybody would be doing it!
good luck!

Got to agree ... with online work its either go big or go home
Nah only kidding, if you look around you bound to find something. Only advice then would be that before you commit to it, throw it out in the forum and get some feedback on it so that you don't get scammed.
You dont mention what either of your skills are - but, you may want to try out GetAFreelancer (have a look at my site) and then outsource your work. Another one is Elance. Try them.
Hope this is giving you some ideas. If you need more input just let us know.

Thank you very much for your reply.
After looking at it very hard, I noticed that most of the jobs at home would be call centers. You are correct, I hardly see any data entry job that is worthy apply for it.
I will keep looking to see if I get something interesting!
Thanks again.

If you're good at some arts and crafts, you can create your own stuff and sell them at etsy.com. Instead of work at home, I think you should have the mindset of a home-based business.

In that case, you may want to check out places like freelance websites where you may be able to get that kind of work, but be ready for a very stiff competition too.
