The internet is a very powerful tool for any business. More & more people are walking away from their CEO incomes per year, because their making that in a month. With the right business, you too can have that kind of income. Investing in your future, is one of the best things you can do for yourself. I invested in mine, and have not looked back. Starting the home business that I'm in, had opened up so many doors for me. My husband and I can now enjoy the freedom of not working the long hours that we did. Someone once told me that if you have to invest in a home business, it's a scam. Well, I'm here to tell you that it's not true. The investment that I did put up, was well worth the information & training that I got. We live in a age where if you're not making a huge income to live and are just making endsmeat, it's hard to move forward. Why live that life anymore. You can get the CEO income per month. You know, sometimes you have to take a step back, to take two steps forward. On th forum, you'll see some great home businesses. I am in one of them. Look at them all choose what business is right for you. Do something to create your empire.

To your massive success.
Michelle

Another great post by Michelle

To be a Winner in the Home business arena, you need a burning desire to achieve, faith you will achieve it, and consistent, persistent action, and never give up.

The freedom an MLM/Home business can bring speaks for itself, but it requires work, like anything in life. You cannot get something for nothing. But the work is fun, you get your good times and even the bad, but the bad is just an opportunity to keep improving.

So as Michelle put it, go get building your empire!

I'm sure part of your investment was time involved in learning the ins and outs of your system. How long did it take for things to really "kick in" where you could feel comfortable in quitting your other job? It's great to hear about success!

The time investment is something that many small businesses overlook. I am glad things are working for you!

It's exciting to think that average people can operate a home-based business and retire 5, 10, 20 years sooner than their regular jobs would allow them to.

It's possible for people to retire from their network marketing businesses in less than a decade, maybe even sooner, depending on their business model and compensation plan and other variables.

What is their other choice? For most, it's to keep right on working their regular jobs and hope to make it to retirement maybe 25 to 30 years from now, more or less.

My investment was not the time that I put into it. When I invested, I made sure to do all of the training. I did not feel that that was part of the investment. My time was well spent learning, talking to millionaires and people just like me. We all have that same comon goal, and that was to be wealthy or wealthier. It took about one month foe me to make a sale. My first comission check was big (for me) You can PM me and I will give you that number. I didn't have to quit my job, I lost my job in December of 2007 and then I started my business. Please, anyone can PM me anytime with any other questions regarding my business and what I'm doing.

To your massive success,
Michelle

AMEN! I cannot tell you how many times I hear that line from people, even people in these forums. I spend a lot of time in forums, and places like Yahoo Answers. It's almost nauseating to hear that tired old phrase, "they don't charge you money to join, like the scam sites." BLAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! Nauseating.

How can one expect to start a business, let alone grow one with no personal investment? I'm sure I could walk into McDonald's headquarters and say " I want to open a McDonalds's in my town, but I don't have any money, and I don't want to pay franchise fees." Yeah, Right! How can someone expect, then, to begin a Home Business with no investment? Absurd!

Thanks Successful, a much needed and much appreciated post.

Some people talk about wanting to become wealthy but make all sorts of excuses why they can't. No matter what is suggested they find a reason why it wouldn't work for them.

Here's what a friend of mine wrote about that:

"This type of excuse-driven person will never be wealthy. Sure, he might say he wants to be wealthy, but only if becoming wealthy was a worry-free, guaranteed proposition that required no work, no effort, no risk, no input or no investment on his part. Good luck finding that kind of deal in today's world." - Keith Schreiter; 'How to Get Rich Without Winning the Lottery'

Personally I think the argument "To Pay Or NOT To Pay" all rests in the amount of research you've done and the BELIEF you have in the opportunity you want to pursue. With the internet, it is SOOOO easy to research ANY opportunity and/or business to find it's level of credibility. To me, people who fall for scams these days just haven't done enough research. I know from the countless hours I've spent researching the best ways to be successful online, that there are great things out there, some that you have to invest in, and others that you do not. Regardless of the avenue one has to take, it's ALWAYS good to hear success stories. Thanks for sharing!

I agree with Centaur; success depends upon level of expertise. This includes research, planning, and skill sets among other things.

It's also a matter of personal style.

Some prefer a mentor and or spending a few thousand in turnkey program that has high dollar returns. They either take and apply the mentor's or the system's advice almost to the T.

Some have developed knowledge and skill sets over a period of years. Some even have naturally fallen into online marketing over the years. Those same folks like to learn quite a bit about everything.

They understand the general components and quite a few details about each component. They plan, test, tweak, and can apply their learning to almost any project. They approach things like both a scientist and an engineer. They have an extreme passion for learning, understanding, and experimenting.

Personally, I have a very strong desire to understand a lot about everything by performing research, experimenting, and developing skill sets. I am also into metrics. Information and understanding how things work intrigue me.

It's been my experience that you should learn all you can and then experiment with it. Additionally, you will have to spend money on software, web hosting, books, and a program, eBook, or report every now and then. Sure you can make some money by going 100% free, but at least spend a little here and there as needed when you decide that you want to make enough income to live well.

No single path is attractive to everyone. Regardless of your path, you will have to learn a lot, you will have to spend some money, and you will have to spend a lot of time to acquire a decent level or expertise and skills. There are no shortcuts.
