I have a question for many of you experienced networkers out there. Any feedback would be helpful as im a bit unsure as to what route to take.

Here are the facts:

I joined an organization and have done very well. My team has grown to about 70 people in about 5 months and im making a few thousand a month with it. Well in the last 3 months major problems have occurred with this companies systems and products. To appease a few members they have given them a free month of service. This only happened after many have yelled at the top of their lungs mind you. Now as these members are in my downline and the company gave them a free month the company has chosen not to pay me a commission for those members. There was no notice and I only became aware as I received my commission check.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? If so, what action did you take to rectify it? Any feedback is greatly appreaciated.

Hi Adam,

I am not too sure how to respond to this. But as an observer of "who" was speaking the loudest on our company calls for some kind of compensation for his team members, I would say it is only fair you did not recieve your commission from the memberships that were credited for the month.

As our team commissions are based on the membership fees structure and not on any sales volume compensation, (as we all keep our own commissions and activations), then why would a company pay you on fees not received?

Makes perfect sense to me.

Had you been to more of the company calls lately, you would be more up to date with all they have been doing to rectify these problems. I say we all need to jump in, pull up our sleeves, and help make this new company rise to the top and shine!

Our incomes will grow proportionately to the amount of positive actions we take as leaders.

I am not involved at all - nor really fully understand the total marketing. However, having owned and run a couple of marketing orgs, how can you expect to be paid, when nomoney was collected?

Maybe I am missing something.

I appreciate the responses but I believe maybe I havent explained the situation so all can understand. Lets clear it up with an example. For instance you work for a company and their computer system goes down. Does that company then send everyone home without pay for the day? If so is that something that should have been announced or should it be a surprise? If it is lawful can someone point me in the right direction to find the MLM statures to support it.

Again I appreciate all the response to the question. This is not a debate as to he said she said but just a post to gather some information from other experienced network marketers that might have been through experience similar.

Most reputed companies have a track record of paying out commissions on time

I think its pretty lame that the company did not pay you. Its not your fault that their systems are all messed up, and they probably have something in writing that states that they will pay you when you refer new members. If they don't pay you, I say move on to something else.
