I heard that the latest version of firefox does not allow cookies from clickbank. Meaning that affiliates will not get credit for their sales. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Yes, I've been seeing this all over the net lately. But there doesn't seem to be any consesus as to how and why this is happening.

Some say FF3 is automatically blocking CB cookies, others say that this is only happening on computers running Spybot Search & Destroy.

Some people are also saying that IE7 blocks CB cookies by default, but that has not been my personal experience.

Whatever the case, affiliates are losing a lot of commissions from this because Firefox has about 30% of the browser market...

I think what needs to be done is for Clickbank to change their tracking system. I've heard that they've started using some form of IP tracking, but as yet it's still pretty unreliable.

I need to look into this some more...

Hi Make,

I'm sure that CB is aware of any existing problems related to your concern. I'm also sure they'll do everything they can to come up with a solution. The only issue is how soon.

Clickbank would certainly do itself a favor by being more communicative with people, even if it didn't have a solution yet.

There's nothing more frustrating than guessing and that's what they're leaving us to do.

I'm with Newbie Shield on this one. There have been so many questions, issues and problems that CB needs to be working on a new tracking system. It's probably overdue, anyway.

Send a message to Clickbank about it - what happens sometimes is that someone will enter wrong information into the order form submit and it won't process their order but I have never had 20 of them!

For the 20 order form submits, how many hops did you have on the same product ?

They usually get back to you within a few days.

Good luck!

I have been concerned about these issues, have suspected this for quite some time.
Just a feeling..

I hope this resolves.

I am sure that ClickBank is a aware of this problem and are working to resolve this issue.

If you have made some sales for a particular product and your sales have gone down since then, then you know that this had an effect on your HOP links.
