Hi, I'm new here and I am looking to get out of my dead end job and do something with my life.
I just ordered information about this alchohol breath tester that you place in facilities that serve alchohol.
It charges up to 2 dollars every try and there is no restocking or franchise fee's. The minimum investment is 9000 dollars and the offer financing.
To me this sounds like a gold mine if placed in the right place.
Any information or advice would be appreciated. TY

wow - $9000 - I guess if you are in a heavily populated area maybe. I live in a small town so it would not be worth it here. Do you get more than one tester?

I guess I would do some research to see what the maintenance costs are. After 4500 whiffs, there may be some maintenace fees ??

Interesting idea, though. I love interesting stuff!

How reputable are these guys you are dealing with? Is it just some fly-by-night company out to get your money or have they got a solid reputation?

And for the minimum investment of $9000, how many machines do you get? Do you get protected areas? If not, what happens if someone else with the same product gets there before you? Or offers a better deal to the business owner where the machine would be located?

If they are someone you can work with, ask to see what projected revenues would be. What's the sense of buying a machine that rarely gets used.

Maybe you can find someone that has bought into these machines already and ask them if the machines generate the income necessary to justify the cost.

Considering that drunk driving has NOT decreased, you would have to question the probability of someone using a Breathalyzer when they are clearly drunk and really don't care if they drink and drive.

This could be something good but be sure to check it out thoroughly before giving out that amount of money.

And like mountainmom5 said, a small town is not going to work. This is something that has to be placed in high traffic drinking establishments.

I would say some extensive research is definitely in order if you're going to be dropping $9000 on an unproven product. With that amount of money you want to know everything there is to know about not only this product but the people/company marketing it.

I have been in the "cop" business for wow since 1967...retired now, don't waste your money.

Drunks never think they are drunk. They sure as heck will not spend money to prove that they are or not.

Great idea....will lose money......
