Here is a short video on how to make use of vinegar around the house. You all probably already know some of these but just in case.

Vinegar is more than just a great cleaning product, grandma used it as medicine and I still do for colds & flu symptoms. A few of the health benefits:
* Reduce sinus infections and sore throats (I even swab my nose with it, yuk but works) * Balance high cholesterol * Cure skin conditions such as acne * Protect against food poisoning * Fight allergies in both humans and animals * Prevent muscle fatigue after exercise * Strengthen the immune system * Increase stamina * Increase metabolism which promotes weight loss * Improve digestion and cure constipation * Alleviate symptoms of arthritis and gout * Prevents bladder stones and urinary tract infections

Oh, and it's especially effective on a bad tooth/gum infection. Mix some Curcumin (Tumeric) with a teaspoon of vinegar and swish a minute. It will reduce the inflammation. kill the bacteria, and reduce pain. Try it, you won't like it, but the results are worth it.

That is all I use for cleaning, Vinegar plus some baking soda. The other cleaners are too dangerous in my opinion.

Thanks for the post. I use vinegar a lot, too. I think it's a natural alternative to all the strong chemical cleaners out there, which often leave a biting smell. Eek. Some natural cleaning products combine vinegar/lemon extracts and other natural substances that can help to keep the house clean.
All the health advantages are new to me, so thanks to you for those, Just2EZ!

When I want to take vinegar as a health supplement I use a tablespoon of cider vinegar (organic if poss) in a cup of warm water with a teaspoon of honey. Mmmm! Which reminds me - must go and take some now, I'm hoping it will help with the inflammation in my frozen shoulder.

Yes, there are many great benefits but I just hate the smell of it.
