Considering the type of forum this is, many of you probably are already involved in a supplement-type distribution company.
Not wanting to start a flame war. I just wanted ask if any of the stuff that most of these companies push, at above retail prices, work? And is it worth spending all that money on the supplements, when a supermarket and|or farmer's market can supply better and cheaper juicer fodder?
IDK - It is the reason why when I was being recruited into few particular companies like that, I said no. Again nothing against those here who have found success recruiting folks into their business.

greenion: I just wanted ask if any of the stuff that most of these companies push, at above retail prices, work? Yes, but below retail prices in my case.
greenion: And is it worth spending all that money on the supplements, It is relative =]
greenion: when a supermarket and|or farmer's market can supply better and cheaper juicer fodder? Wrong. If you are buying a concentrated liquid vitamin.. It would take far too many fresh fruits, veggies, meats, etc to equal what you get in a one day supply of the right vitamin.
That is why the market for this is so huge, you can take one dose of a vitamin and get all of the nutrients you need in a day. It certainly keeps me healthy.. as well as feeling great.
Everyone deserves to feel like this =].

I have taken a variety of supplemental juices or whatever you want to call them... like SeaSilver, Limu Plus, Monavie, Body something, and several more that I can't remember the names right now and they are ALL great.
People feel great when they take the stuff which is what sells it... .
And no, you will not be able to get the same results with veggies and a juicer...not even close

There is a company that I am a customer of. They take your DNA by sending you 2 swabs in the mail. Then you send it back to them and they customize a nutritional supplements for you that you can take on a daily basis.
I have been taking these supplements for like a year and a half and it is awesome. It costs me like $110 per month but it is worth it.

greenion, you have to be careful with supplements. Some have overdosages, a lot are synthetic(which is'nt bad compared to not taking or getting enough at all), and vitamins and minerals simply are'nt enough. When you ask, do they work? You need to think about the definition of work. The body actually does the work if you give it the right ingredients and the right amounts. Also, people are at different health levels therefore will experience mixed results. As far as the farmer's market or supermarket is concerned, yes you can get it at cheaper prices but some things to consider are: how long have they been there after harvest, what contaminants do they have? are they genetically modified?, how much of them do you need to meet your daily requirements? and what will the true cost be after acquiring what you need? Look into pasteurization and see what it does to nutrients. Let me know if you would like any more info on nutrition that i may be able to pass on to you or anyone else. Whole foods is the best. It is natural, like our bodies.

There are some great health enhancement products that come from these network marketing companies. If it was not for them using network marketing to get the word out many people would be still suffering and dying from the b.s. that comes from the medical profession. Doctors don't live any longer than their patients, so think that over.
While not all the products put out by these companies are as they would want us to believe, fact remains that the good has completely out weighted the bad.
Wealth without health, is a flawed operation for success.

I would research the name of the supplements. Googling them you will get all sorts of opinions. I really like to see that the supplements have peer reviewed clinical proof of their effectiveness. Usually the peer reviewed sites will rank high on Google.
On your price issue a good company will have many product lines to fit individuals budget and health goals.
Have a wonderful day!

Vitamin marketing is partially about health and part business. Some products are of higher quality than others, but I would agrue that almost all truly believe they have a great product. Just listen to any of them speak, they would swear theirs is the best for a variety of reasons.

Then you send it back to them and they customize a nutritional supplements for you that you can take on a daily basis. That approach is going to get you the closest to optimum benefit, for sure. But even so, there are many things to consider when choosing nutritional supplementation.
For instance, most supplement manufacturers use inexpensive magnesium oxide to source their magnesium. It's great for them because it's cheap, it handles heat well, transports well and compacts tightly into capsule form.
Unfortunately, the human body is unable to absorb oxides well. More than 2/3 of the magnesium oxide taken is never absorbed in fact.
Whenever you choose nutritional supplements, be sure to look for 'ates' -Orates, Chelates, Fumarates, Glycinates etc...
These are more expensive generally, but your body is actually able to absorb them fully.
Best ~Dennis

greenion Many of the supplements or foods at the stores are not natural. Most of the things we buy from the store for our hair or skin are not the best. These brands use mineral oil or any other ingredient that is cheap to get a profit. There are some products that not only give you the nutrients you need but also protects you from other things like radiation, or keeps your biofield balanced. All supplements are different but the ones in the store were there for years because of the brand whereas there is another product that may be way better with natural ingredients. So many people are getting better revelation on health. More people are looking more into Scalar Energy, etc. But it's interesting that doctors prescribe medication instead of just prescribing their patients with natural products. Why isn't that being pushed when so many people were healed with out medication. Just by living healthy

Yes, I truly believe in the products I take (and offer through network marketing) because of 3 things:
100% all natural 100% potency and efficacy guarantee They were developed by a team of SCIENTISTS and not a marketing company.
I feel better and healthier at 40 than I did in my 20's
Supplementation is HUGE part of a healthy life and when incorporated with an exercise program and healthy eating habits, the limits are endless.
Proper nutrition and cellular nutrition can help prevent degenerative disease and help us live longer and dying shorter.

Good points Dennis Anthony! Also look for ingredients that have -ase at the end of the word instead of -ose. But this is not always the case, only a rule of thumb.
