Hi Judy, I've used several of the vacation certificates. Typically, they way this works is when you are finalizing everything you'll simply request 2 or so extra days for your trip. This is done with the company who's handling your reservation - not the hotel. Many times the travel company has bought out the rooms at a hotel, so if you were to request extra nights from the hotel - they've been sold to the travel company.
