Congrats Nestea on joining Coastal Vacations - have fun and I wish you much success

This has been a most interesting thread to read thru - haven't been on the Coastal threads for awhile - too busy with life, I guess!

And I actually took over an mlm business for my hubby so I have several irons in the fire...

I do Coastal the traditional way with the 2 ups but I do split the profit of the training sales... so the new associates have something to work with to get their business built up... works for me and it helps them get into profit more quickly...

Hi Jim,

I have already been to the webinar -- we did it about two weeks ago. I spoke to Magic the next day and we will get started later this month. Thanks. Looking forward to hearing more about the lead package.

Welcome to the Coastal Closers team, Vanessa!
You'll find a great business with top-notch support staff committed to your success.

I see you are also involved in another business - Coastal now has two separate income streams, and works well in conjunction with other ventures.

Your posts on this forum show that you know how to do research and publicity for your business - you're off to a great start!

Have any of you done specials from time to time for people to help them get started with Coastal?

It is such a good time to get started in a home business of some sort as with school starting soon, many moms will be able to have more time to commit to a home business again.

Cheers to all,
Viola

Hi Viola,
I definitely have run specials like $1,000 off of a premiere membership but I only offer it to prospects that find my website or to leads I purchase.

Thanks Harold... I have been offering specials to those getting started, like buying leads for them, splitting the profits on the training sales, etc... but was rolling some ideas around on the actual start up as well...that helped!

I usually run "specials" twice a year. In the spring and fall. If someone shows me that they are really serious and would like to come in at level 2 but they just can't justify spending the money I will offer them a discount of $500 to $1,000 and that will usually motivate them to go ahead and join. Just don't do it often because it will cut into your profits.

There are some who offer Coastal at HUGE discounts each and every day and even sell directors releases which is TOTALLY against the rules and it almost gurantees that the person buying the package will NOT get the support they need to make money or even learn how to use the package unless they are self motivated enough to come to the "official" calls to get training. These people hurt Coastal as a business and are misleading and giving Coastal a bad name. I wish they would do something about it.

Hey peanut gallery. It's been awhile since i've been on here. Life has truly been grand the last few months. I've taken some time off to enjoy the fruits of my labor and enjoy my family. That is the beauty of our business, the true freedom in life it gives us. During this time I have been able to revamp some methods and create a few new twist to serving people getting started in Coastal Vacations. In addition I have been able to create some features in my business better suited to cater to doing B2B promotions as well as streamlining things.

Coastal Vacations is by far the most incredible business on the planet in my opinion. Here is why.

1- Flexibility

As an independent business owner you are able to create systems to encompass your own individual skills. In addition there are many groups with systems in place to help the newcomer get up to speed quickly.

2- Product

Discount travel is a no-brainer in terms of picking a product to be in business with. Everyone loves travel and with the prices available in our packages the deal gets even better.

3- Profits

From $1000- $9705 in the traditional models ( as well as all the deals offered by the various members of all the various groups) it only takes a few deals to change anyones life.

To anyone looking at Coastal Vacations you are at the right place at the right time. I wish prosperity to all and God Bless. Looking forward to seeing you all in a town near you in the near future.

Let me know when you get close to the NW corner of Montana! That would be quite a treat.

Hello Moderator,

I appreciate you working to keep an "even hand" on the posts, so if
you would, please either leave my posts up ... or please remove ALL
the posts that have any personal-to-the-poster's business practices.

I'm referring to posts where it is mentioned "we do make deals / run
specials" -- but of course you have to visit his site. Or "we have our
own special twist" or "we do buy leads and give them to people", etc.

We don't split commissions with Members, yet we do the selling for them.

We don't charge monthly fees for the sites we give and we pay people
on the first sales made.

And yes, you have to visit our site and attend our free public presentation
to learn all the facts.

I appreciate you leaving this post up ... or taking them all down.

Thank you ...

I had deleted your post. While I do allow some leniency there is some distinction between explicit self-promotion and passive self-promotion. More so, a lot also depends on the member - the number of posts he has made, the quality of posts and so on... Whatever it is, posts that are purely self-serving will not be tolerated at all.

Hello Vishal,

Thank you for the response. I do understand your position and will
work to keep my posts from being purely self-serving.

I'm sure over time, that fine line of distinction will become clearer.

Have a great weekend coming up ...

I agree its very hard to do many things at the same time. As long as you prioritize all your tasks it should be possible. I usually just do one thing at a time though.

Regarding the questions about "specials" for Coastal Vacations - our group has always offered options that are a bit different than the traditional Coastal marketing plan. This way, more people are able to get started and make a profit sooner than they would have with the traditional plan. However we don't sell director's releases or offer drastic discounts that go against the rules and intent of the traditional Coastal plan.

The fact that Coastal directors do have some leeway in terms of pricing, training sales and profit sharing is a unique advantage of Coastal when compared to other business opportunities. The real key to success though is the support and training you receive from your director and/or group within Coastal. We have had many people who are already in Coastal join us specifically for this reason. It really is a fantastic opportunity. If you are already in Coastal at any level and have not yet achieved the success you want, maybe it's time to try a new group and a different strategy.

To your success!

Wow

I am suprised to see so many old coastal members on this thread.

I thought many had left to better pastures.

The lack of ethics and value in the memberships in Coastal pushed me away after all these years.

Wishing you luck
Maria

I've heard about Coastal Vacations, but never really took the time to look into it. I just might.

Thanks

Coastal Vacations is an amazing opportunity. It's been dragged through the mud by a few members of various other opportunities but I stand by Coastal. I try my best to never down any opportunity and would rather talk about the upside of the opportunities im involved in.

Coastal Vacations is a business in a box. You get an amazing travel package that you can then market to others so they can save on their travel as well. In addition its the ultimate marketing tool. You can show business owners how to use the vacations to retain customers, reward employees as well as draw new customer. Imagine a business being able to offer a cruise to any customer that spends "x" amount of dollars in their store. That's a pretty good way to gain some business. Another way to run your business is to show others how to profit $1000- $9705 on every transaction.

As you can see there is a major upside to being part of Coastal Vacations. Ive been involved for years now and love it. If you have a question on how to run a Coastal Vacations business and need an experienced person to talk to Id be more than willing to give you my take on this incredible business.
