Did anyone attend the Coastal seminar this past weekend in Orlando?

What was the new program or software they were going to present at the seminar?

Can you share any highlights with us please?

My husband and I want to make the next one.
Terri

Hey Terri,
There's a Conference call tonight, some important announcements by the Board of Directors/Leadership Council. I just emailed my team:

Tonight at 9pm Eastern time
(620) 294 3000 xt. 1103#

Get on the call a few minutes early, it's going to be packed.

I am bummed I missed the call. I think Jeff Mills was doing a webcam from the seminar. Was anyone able to catch any of it?

Thanks,
Susan

They added a few new trips to the packages. A vegas trip, a new condo trip with over 150 destinations (I think that's right) and they added replaced a couple of membership cards with a brand new Travel Agent card and I think it was an RV rental card also. Also, they launched a new training site for members. I'm sure I missed somthing so you guys fill in the holes.

Those were the highlights Harold.

Anyone know the name of the NEW travel agency??
I did not like Intelle that's why I chose Traverus.

And they are getting rid of the gasoline cards , I didn't like that it required having to go thru and accept all those offers in order to get the gasoline.

There were so many new things to hear about I couldn't catch all of it.Nor where there details. I beleive they said to get the new vacations you had to send a SASE to NB Mgmt....??

This all they say about the travel agent card:

Coastal Agent Program Card - Get all the benefits and perks that professional travel agents do! With this card, you can sign
up to become an outside agent for the host agency, and get one-one-one mentorship and training on how to book travel for
others. Book train and rail, consolidator airfares, hotels, resorts, block cruises and more! TO USE: Go to the website listed on
the back of the card, and sign up online for the Agent Advantage program. Coastal Vacations members get a 10% discount on
agent registration fees. Just use the referrer name "Coastal" when you sign up to get your discount.

I listened in on the conference call last night. And one thing I noticed was that they were talking a lot about the 'Official' Coastal website. And talking about how they are launching new training through that site.

I am a little confused about this. Do you have to join with the 'Official' Coastal website in order to get this training. Or can you still access it under another director or group?

Hey Jat,
Good question.

Coastal Vacations is a travel association with different groups under its umbrella. At least three are represented in this forum, The Call Center, CSG and Coastal Wealth Builders (CWB).

We all market the same product, but the Board of Directors are the ones who set the guidelines for the business but some groups have their own guidelines. The Call Center utilizes the same guidelines as set out by the Board.

The "official" training system was put together by members of different groups within Coastal and it's something we can all utilize as part of your training as you begin. Again, it's free to access for all.

As far as I am aware, all the groups stive to stay within BOD guidelines. I'm glad to hear the BOD is stepping up their resources in their back office FINALLY! It hasn't been the most advanced for many years now.

Many groups, such as the CSG also have adpopted the BOD guidelines and strictly enforce them to maintain the integirty of the group. The CSG ethical policy and guidelins as well as our anti spam policy is on our websites. It is imperative that they be adhered to at all times, for very good reasons!

Cheers

Can someone please provide the dates for the upcoming Coastal Seminars. It was posted briefly on the WAHM forum, but it must have been deleted.

Thanks,
Amanda
