Hey Sonya, is that your SBI site??? It it is absolutely beautiful. I need some tips on using the three column one if that is what you are using....
I will be browsing your site some more and getting tips - I just might be asking you some questions next week. if I may do so.... my kids start school and I CAN'T WAIT to get back to more full time IMing.

Hi Sonya,
Lovely to meet you. It's always nice to see another SBIer around here.
MM5's right, your site is very nice. I'm very much looking forward to switching over to the three column option when it becomes available soon for the blockbuilt sites.
I have 3 block built sites and 1 that I've attempted to upload my own html. It's languishing away as I haven't had as much time (or motivation) as I had hoped to get the hang of it.
Now that the new releases are imminent, I'm getting even less motivated to get back into the learning process. I'm sure I'll tackle it eventually, but it will still be very nice indeed to swap my other sites over so easily to 3 columns without having to do it page by page. (Can you say lazy?)
Anyway, glad to have you!
Blessings, Angie

Thank you both for the compliments!
@MM5 - please ask away. I love helping other people with their site building in any way I can, even though I am constantly learning myself.
@Happywife - When I first stared the transition process, it was so difficult to get the hang of things. But once I figured out what I was doing wrong, it was smooth sailing from there.
I got my template from another successful SBIer (is it okay to post her site link here?), who also owns a non-SBI! site and blog. On her blog, she created a very simple 3-column template and offered it for free for anyone to use. The template can be customized in any way. I started transitioning my pages after I already had about 80 pages built. And that was not fun since I had to upload the pages 1 by 1. But I am so happy I did it.
I will be buying 2 more SBI! subscriptions when the buy 1 get 1 sale starts, and I have already designed 1 of them with the free template. But, for the 3rd site, I'm going to wait for the contest templates to come out. So far, the entries are so good. So maybe I'll use one of those for my design.
One thing I'm working on now is re-designing my header. Hopefully I'll have that done this weekend. That's the beauty of using your own HTML - you can do whatever you want with your design!

Even though I decided not to transition my old sites, I did get AJ's template (from the SBI forum) and I'm using that for my angieberg.com site.
I'm still VERY rusty with it because I haven't had much time to play around with it. Maybe the coming winter weather will be my "time" to get at it. (I'll be 'enjoying' my first northern US winter in 12 years and feel vastly unprepared for it.). Fingers crossed, anyway!
Blessings, Angie
