i submitted my first article last week. I got an email this morning that said it was published and I too was an expert. Exactly what does that mean? Is it unusual to get this with your first article?

To be honest, i'm really not sure because i'm not much of a writer, but it just might mean that you qualify as an expert for that company or website to write articles.
It also probably means that you are the material they are looking for to write and publish good articles for them.

It may also be worth it to try http://www.archive.org/web/web.php Maybe your old site has been archived and, if so, that would save you a heap of time in recreating everything.

OMG! OMG! OMG!
Thank you so much for that site! I put my old web addy in and it came up with 6 pages archived at different times. They are all the same page mind but I can now try to recreate my site from that one as it has the links to the other pages I wrote so it'll jog my memory if nothing else!

Wey Hey,
Not sure what to say other than you can now paste those little box's on you sites to say you are an expert and maybe once per year you may get a couple of mouse mats or note pads but hey, I am not knocking that, it's more than I get from anybody else.
I happen to think that ezine articles are just about the top of the pile in this business unless anyone can tell me otherwise and good luck to you for your recognition,

I got a large white mug with a red heart design next to I (heart) Ezine Articles, after writing 10 articles. It is motivating.
