Hi everybody,
my name is Melanie and I am new here. The home based business or internet marketing idea is relatively new to me and I am just starting to get my feet wet. I am glad that I found this forum and happy to be here.
PS. I joined a little while ago but never done anything because life got in way!

Life will never stop trying to get in the way. Be as strong about moving it out the way so that you can achieve success.

Internet marketing is truly an amazing concept. I've been doing it for 5 years now, and I still pinch myself that I get to do this in my spare time and make a decent income.
I wish very much that I had gotten started even sooner. Oh well! Can't go backward, only forward!
You said that you are getting your feet wet. Have you already decided on what direction you are going to take, or are you still trying to sort things out and determine what type of internet marketing is right for you?
There's a lot of good info throughout the forum on the different types of home business opportunities - affiliate marketing, network marketing (MLM), niche websites, blogs, squidoo, etc.
It can get a bit overwhelming when you are just starting out and learning all the lingo. Don't despair if you find yourself there. Decide on one method and learn all you can about that. Stay focused and implement it fully. If you try to go in too many different directions at once, you'll likely end up going in circles and not making any real progress.
