Hello guys,

Hope everyone are doing good. Just wasn't online a couple of days. (A bit busy with client calls).

I recent days I have been hearing a lot about domain trading, domain selling and domain renting. I just know the concept. You buy a domain, and sell it for profit. The domain cost depends on the keyword, age and many other factors. The most important factor is how you wrap things up. Ok just saw a person who revealed that he recently sold a domain for $8000.

Yooo. 8k is a big amount and really a big one. Just had a chat with him and understood how things works. If anyone who is domain trading can share his experience on this module of earning.

Resources:
Sedo, sitepoint, godaddy and many others.

Shall we kick start the discussion ?

Hi Sam,

I did it once around 2002 or so. I don't remember the exact year.

I didn't buy it with the intention of flipping it. Someone offered me a big fat wad of cash for it so I sold it to them for an amount I will not disclose.

If there is already info on it, it's often referred to as website flipping.

It can be very lucrative but many experts have been doing it since the 1990's.

You'd have to be quite good at it to make money. Sounds appealing doesn't it?

Good luck,
