LOL, as you can see "skeptic" isn't even in my vocabulary. That or spell check doesn't work on polls and you can't edit them. Skepticism is healthy as long as you are open to other possibilities. I can explain away anything, but in the end miracles happen anyway. You may notice "believe" is a key element to the question. Believe to Achieve!

elyrly: I ask for a miracle Asking and believing are two different things. In my experience it is the level of belief that makes a difference. When you believe then you are thanking the universe, not asking. I'm not saying you are wrong, only that belief is not the same as wanting. Some people I know only believe in doctors and that is how they are cured. Doing good things is great but it is unshakable faith that matters most. By being grateful you overcome the "never gonna happen" syndrome. I know how frustrating it feels but that frustration is negative energy. Being UNhappy only makes the situation worse instead of feeling blessed. Sorry to sound preachy, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for your response. jimmy

Everything around us including your body is a miracle. Don't you think so? The only reason we don't see these as miracles is because we are too preoccupied in our minds and think we are responsible for everything happening around us.
Sitting peacefully doing nothing Spring comes and the grass grows all by itself. - Zen proverb

Being a human being, being healthy, and having unlimited opportunities in life does make my life a miracle.
Having a great family is a great miracle.
Having air to breath is a miracle.

Having a life is a miracle, yes I do believe in miracle.. Every single day of our life we can call it also a miracle, because God gave us a new day, a new life to be with our family.
We have to be thankful for everyday in our life..
Good day everyone!

By rights all 4 of my kids should not be here due to completely random events. If there is one thing that life has taught me it is that everything happens for a reason
Who are we to question why? Fighting our fate just detracts from enjoying the time that we have.

katereber: So happy for your recovery of disability.. Thanks Kate - I actually haven't recovered, I've got MS, so little chance of that, but have learned that happiness is not a miracle, it is a state of mind. This means that we have the ability to choose whether we are happy or UNhappy.
Miracles on the other hand are random events that are all around us - we just have to look for them.

I think it boils down to one thing... Do you believe The Universe was Created from Nothing? A person either has an Infinite mindset or a finite mindset. There is still plenty of "Nothing" so there should be no limits. 99.9% of the tiniest molecule is pure "Nothing". That is where Miracles come from. Nothing is everywhere, in every thing. It shapes and molds all that it touches. Resistance is futile so go with the flow. Be thankful for "Nothing" and create something from "Nothing". Be the miracle you wish for, the power of "Nothing" is in every cell. The Creator does not care what you call Him/Her, just Believe. Must be Sunday. InJoy, jimmy

"Absolutely, Miracles are common in my life"
However, I believe that miracles are pre-fated.
