After contemplating on this since many days, I've come to the conclusion that I may close the ASD forum for good. Here's what drove me to this decision:
There are many allegations/counter-allegations going on in the ASD forum making it very difficult for me to moderate the forum on account of my complete ignorance in this matter. While some may suggest choosing a moderator, which I have contemplated too, it's not always possible to get a impartial one. There is always a risk of turning the forum in a pro ASD one or vice-versa, which I don't want.
Of course I won't be stranding you people. If you people can recommend a good ASD forum, I'll be happy to direct the traffic to it. Please post your suggestions.

Hi Vishal,
I understand your position, but would think it is a pity as WOH is one of the few forums tht has managed to remain impartial on the internet. And I have noticed that some of the detractors are far more polite on your forum than they are on others!
I personally would ask you to give it a little longer. The ASD site will soon be in full operating order and many of the difficulties than memers have been discusing t WOH will disappear.
It will then be far easier for you to moderate as it will be clear who is asking questions and who is causing trouble.
For some reason this programme has attracted an unusual amount of venom from its detractors. It is not specific to WOH which has had far less trouble than some other forums.
We enjoy this forum and it would be sad for it to stop. You have already given us a separate section which has been greatly appreciated and enabled many people to resolved issues that they would not have been able to do anywhere else.
Pleae reconsider.
If you decide tht you cannot continue - everyone will be welcome to come and look for help at the The ASD Member Forum, but we would all be happier to have both.
Jenny

Sorry to hear the news...just when I am sobering up...
I like the "ASD Member Forum" also.
I am also constructing Iggy's ASD informational blog and discussion group that would allow members to post Videos, Pictures, links, etc.
Anyone here is welcome to join.

Please pardon my ignorance, but exactly what is a forum meant to do if not bat around ideas on a given topic.
There are only a very few people "dropping" in from time to time with an agenda to cause trouble.
To me, it's about "take what you like and leave the rest."
Thanks for the heads up!!! And thanks to those who posted other places I can go to keep in touch with my "partners" in ASD!
Cheers! Brenda

Vishal, it's refreshing to know our moderator broods over this board - to me, that speaks of your integrity in wanting to make sure impartiality is at the helm here......
Gotta agree with Jenny, though......while the site's been "under", we HAVE experienced an influx of unsubstantiated claims, crying SCAM.....once the site is functioning again, I bet it will work itself out and hopefully we'll return to the excitement of watching something work exactly as has been promised.
I suppose I AM partial to ASD, but only because I've seen how it works......I have no problem with people who express their unhappiness with ASD, if they've had that as THEIR experience.....the ones, though, who come on here with no involvement with ASD other than to scream "scam".....that, for me, is where the problem lies......they need to be escorted off the thread in no uncertain terms....that would be hard for you to do if you know nothing about ASD......so I can certainly appreciate the position you're in.
Good luck in your decision, and thanks for your efforts thus far if you DO decide to withdraw/close this forum. We'll just go somewhere else, although I do like this format......

And I agree with Caterina, Vishal.
This forum is probably one of the best I have seen (apart from those dedicated to ASD! LOL) for its tone and general discussion. You have set the standard and WOH does not generally suffer from some of the abusive posts on any topic that I have seen in the so called "professional internet marketing forums", some of which are just plain nasty.
All that needs to be done is for troublemakers - who are well known across the internet forum world who come to WOH to "lower its tone" for any programme dealt with on WOH, are simply banned from the topic, in question. (it is against the ToS anyway)

Vishal,
I have been watching this forum daily - although I don't post much.
It has been very interesting and educational to me to see both sides of people's comments and discussions. I have learned more since the ASD "bashers" have been posting. It brings up good discussion points. Most of us are able to weed out the "bashers" although it does give some negativity to the forum itself.
On the flip side - many positive comments made to support ASD with proof to support these comments.
I give all my prospects and downline's this forum site d/t the discussions, idea's and information given here.
It would be a shame to see this forum go away.

Vishal,
I would second to please keep this forum open. I find it very objective, with good discussions.... besides that, I've just added it to my bookmarks and that in and of itself is an accomplishment for me!

Hi Vishal,
I understand your position, but I do agree with Jenny that we would like to have both ASD forums up and running, the one you created and the one I created.
But I do understand your thoughts and if you do decide to close this forum we would understand and make sure that no ASD members were left behind or stranded and we would greatly accept the redirection of traffic to our ASD Member forum if that is what you decide to do.
Regards,
Trevor

Hi Vishal,
PLEASE, PLEASE reconsider!!!
We were all set, to render our views, only to find, that the posts before us, have already done it.
THIS IS OUR FAVORITE FORUM! This is the forum that we pull up FIRST. Why? Because it's OPEN...not one sided!
This is the forum, that we send all prospective members to. We too, ask that they read the whole thing from the beginning, because there ARE negative posts here sometimes. We feel, that it's a great timesaver, among other things.
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
Anyone about to spend their hard earned money on anything....does their homework. We did. We went out on the internet, LOOKING for opposing opinions about ASD. It helped us make up our minds to JOIN!
THIS forum was the other great contribution to our decision....just because, we read negative posts here, and realized what a STRONG, POSITIVE membership ASD has, and didn't feel it necessary to 'slant' this blog. Here...everything is out in the open...soooo refreshing, to say the least.
In reality, there's two sides to everything anyway. In America, isn't one of it's attributes, the right to voice one's own opinion?
Frankly, we read the other blogs too, but, KNOW, that the very REAL DEAL, is over here!!!!!
Without this blog....We'd have to take the time, to go out on the internet and FIND, all the objections to ASD. Why? Because we know that, there will always be some opposing opinions about ASD, and that prospective members will do their homework. If confronted with they've heard, we'd like to present ourselves, as well rounded on the subject of ASD, no matter what direction the conversation may take...
So far....we've had two people, sign up under us, AFTER reading this whole forum. So much for, not allowing the opinions of the opposition up here.
While at the Miami Rally, we were talking to a man, that signed up 25 people under him, in the midst of the revamping of ASD, and all the bashing on the internet . I asked him what he says, when, prospective members confront him, with what the bashers are saying. He looked at me, and said simply....
"I walk away. I don't even bother." That's heavy! (He's still got 25 people under him, with more to come. He presents ASD to groups of people in his home.)
Lastly.... we don't speak on forums very often. Jenny encouraged us to do so, on another 'positive' forum, so we did.
One reason, that we've remained quite, is because, we did speak up, on another forum..... Tried to HELP/PUT AT EASE, a concerned member who heard something about, the article in the Tulsa newspaper. They censored everything we said, which addressed that article in a postive way, and made it clear, that if, we posted anything along lines like that agan...that we'd be banned from the forum. Needless to say, we NEVER go THERE, to educate/update ourselves anymore...although we still read it, every once in awhile out of curiosity.
We're both College Graduates. There wasn't a subject we had, that didn't have pro's and con's.... and both were always openly discussed in our classes, no matter what. Steve went to Temple. I went to NYU.
The following can be applied to anything:
"In order to be a well rounded individual, one must know a little of everything".
"The measure of a mind's evolution, is its acceptance of the unacceptable."
Without THIS forum....we'd be lost. Please don't take it away.

I would like to see this forum remain open as well. This was the first place I found when I was looking for info on ASD.
In my opinion a forum is a place to bounce around information about a particular program or company. That's how we make informed decisions.
I hope you will reconsider.

mrich87: I would second to please keep this forum open. I find it very objective, with good discussions.... besides that, I've just added it to my bookmarks and that in and of itself is an accomplishment for me! Me too. I look at this forum more than ASD nowadays and its very interesting. I give it to my prospects to lear more and ask questions. You can't get boo out of ASD these days so without this very valuable, informative and impartial forum I would have lost all interest in ASD by now. Please don't let it die. I know things will settle down once the new site is up and running. I have been using the internet for as long as I can remember and this is the first forum I have ever posted to in my life...

Hi Vishal,
I learned about ASD for the first time through this forum. If you close the ASD forum, a part of me will die. Ok, ok, way too melodramatic..LOL, but seriously, I think it should remain open just for its value of information.
