Thanks everyone. I finally called the internet speedway number after hearing about it so long and meaning to... well the thing was... I finally asked the guy .. what exactly do I have TO DO?? because you are making it sound like I virtually don't have to do anything... he said, and I wrote it down, 1) CHECK YOUR SITE AND SEE WHO BOUGHT WHAT 2) CHECK PAYPAL AND SEE HOW MUCH I MADE 3) DESIGN A STOREFRONTAND LOGO 4) TALK ONCE OR TWICE TO A FREE MARKETING SPECIALIST... WELL HONESTLY ... THAT IS AWFULLY CLOSE TO NOTHING.. I TOLD HIM TO CALL ME BACK IN 90 MINUTES BUT HE NEVER DID. I WENT OUT AND CHECKED THE INTERNET AND THIS SITE TOLD ME ALL I NEED TO KNOW, THANKS! I WOULD ADD I TOLD HIM I AM ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND HE STILL KEPT PUSHING IT... HE SAID NO ONE WOULD GIVE GATES $800 for a long time.. I THINK HE DIDN'T CALL BACK CUZ ESPECIALLY I KEPT SAYING I DON'T HAVE A COMPUTER.. HE KEPT SAYING YOU CAN CHECK IT FROM THE LIBRARY... UFFF ... WHEN I SAW HOW MUCH TROUBLE PPL HAVE GETTING THEIR MONEY BACK I SEE IT IS A GOOD THING I LOOKED THIS UP FIRST. NOT SEEING ONE GOOD EXPERIENCE HERE.

The problem is the advertisement of the product. It's not overnight! It takes time to set up the product and some of the items that are given in stock can be purchased on the street for less than it's sold for in the warehouse. It's a fraud because to the person with a regular high school diploma, like most people looking to make money overnight, it does not work!! Just because you have the intelligence to make this package work, does not mean that the average, everyday Joe, can make it work. Times are hard, blah, blah, blah. Do not insult the everyday person who has to work everyday for half a cent!

I just want to thank all who posted here. By posting this information on line, you are saving others like myself from the same fate. I heard their ad for the first time on a local radio station this a.m. and called them. I have an E-Bay store and was interested in trying to find some legitimate merchandise to sell there. The idea of drop shipping is very appealing but I have found that most drop shipping operations are scams like this one and you end up losing in the end.

I just called internet speedway from a KGO Radio ad. Because I trust the station, I figure the product must be great. The phone rep on the other side hammered the crap out of me to get me into the $400+ software and was pissed when I only wanted the 30 day trial.
Then we started the transaction for the trial and after putting down my card he continues to hammer me then say he could not give me a confirmation number until tomarrow. I ask why the next day? He says there is no one here to process it. I said let's cancel the transaction and he responded with a snide "well fine" and hung up. Internet Speedway Sucks So I call the 800 # back and voiced my complain to the rep who answered who seemed to understand and "let me transfer you to technical support etc" A guy in tech support asked for my acct. number to which I answered I did not have one and proceeded to explain. He immediately said without an acct number there is nothing he could do. If I want to get a membership he can transfer me to a rep. No where in his conversation did he give me the impression that he was concerned or could direct me up the chain to a customer relations person. In conclusion, They Suck!

I have had real life experience with Internet Speedway (I will refer to it as IS). I called and received the "free" cd for $9.99. What they don't tell you is if you don't return it within 30 days, they start billing you. In 2003, after I received the cd, I received a call from a VERY high pressure sales person and we (hubby & I) agreed to set up a custom website & start selling on the internet. I had been on eBay since 1999 so I wanted to have business growth. I invested $5,000 for the platinum package ... for 12 coaching sessions and a "custom" website. They also do not disclose up front that they charge you for every little thing (i.e. hosting, warehouse access to their products, etc.)... I can't name them all.
This complete program is set up for drop-shipments ... mainly their (IS's) products (not selling your own products).
I knew more about selling on eBay than the coaches. I would ask questions and the coaches would not have an answer. Their standard comment was "I will have to get back to you on that". When your next session call came in, the coach would brush over last weeks and you will never get an answer. When you start selling products from IS warehouses (which they charge you a monthly fee to access their products), your item cost is higher than what they sell for on eBay plus you have to pay shipping. When you load the items from IS on ebay ... one product is NOT reserved for you. If the item sells and their (IS) warehouse is out of stock, you have to refund your customer which is not good customer relations. If your potential customer has questions, you are unable to answer the questions because you don't have the product and all you know is from the "very little" info that is given in IS warehouse descriptions. If you sell your own products, you will have trouble with the shipping charges and sale tax.
The custom website (bah humbug) was one of their boiler-plate templates with my company name across the header. If you buy the website, all you receive is the static front page. you can't take it to a different web-host because it won't work, so you are either stuck with IS or you have nothing at all.
The final straw was when I trying to get answers to my questions by calling customer support and no one would talk to me, or call me back for days and days. They would just transfer me to someone's voicemail or put me on hold for hours. I finally took them to small claims court in Wisconsin and IS attorney kept postponing the case. I did get my day in court and their Atty. had notified the courts that he would be there never showed. Ihad my hearing and received $4000 plus court costs in refund. It took lots of work on my part to get this refund. I felt that I did receive some good contacts for buying my own inventory and selling it. My profit margin is much greater with purchasing my own inventory.
I did an interview with Milwauke Sentinal about 1 month ago. They contacted the CEO of Internet Speedway and they deny being sued by me but if you go on CCAP (the court system of Wisconsin), it is public record that they were sued and the amount I recovered. THEY WERE SUED & I WON!
I do still have my IS website but it doesn't work. I only keep it for web presence. I have had 1 sale in the existance of the website (since 2003) and this transpired last week Aug 2009.
I am in the process of setting up a new website of my own. I will own the coding on this website.
PLEASE stay away from this high pressure sales pitch.

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. They say there is a free trial but as soon as it is over they charge you $99.95 a month and it is almost impossible to cancel the trial before you are billed due to their complex methods of cancellation and they put you on hold for 30 minutes at least each time you call to try to cancel. If you have $99.95 to burn on this useless product each month then by all means go for it but it is in no way worth the money and I finally was able to cancel it after trying for almost 2 months. I am sure there are better products out there which work and are not a scam like this one.
