I'm trying to upload web pages using filezilla. It looks like they are in the public_html but when I try to view them I get a blank index page. Anyone know how and where these files should go? Thanks.

Hi Randy,
Contact tech support at your hosting service.
As an aside, you may have a blank index page loaded into your public_html directory. That sort of thing is known to cause the issue you describe provided you are trying to look at it via web browser.
For FileZilla, you have to enter all your account info for it to work properly. Have you done that?
Good luck and let us know if you are able to solve the issue,

beside filezilla, i suppose there is a way to upload your files to your hosting service. Try that first. Then you will be able to find the location of files.

Thanks. Yes I can successfully connect to the server, find the public_html file upload my index page and all supporting jpegs..ect. but when I try to view it look like a white page with all of my uploaded files listed on the upper left corner. If I click on these files I can view them even my index page but everything doesn't seem to be working together?? support haven't responded. Thanks.

OK your server is not recognizing your index file. Please check the extension of your index file - .htm, .html, .php ... If it's .htm or .php, try changing it to .html and see.
Some servers are configured to check index files with specific extensions only. You can either change them through your cPanel or ask your server admin to do it.

Ok, I'm close. I loaded everything to the www file. I still see a list of my files but when I click on my index page in the file list my index page displays exactly right. I'm not sure why it doesn't connect directly to the index page?? Thanks.

Hi Randy,
As an aside, make sure that you don't have more than one instance (copy) of your index file. Delete additional versions - only keeping the one you like best.

Ok. I fixed part of it! I had altered the index name to find it easier on my computer, the server has to have it call "index" nothing else. That fixed it. But now the domain is still not pointing to the site. I registered the domain with the same hosting company and the name servers look correct. Not sure what can go wrong to cause this? Thanks.

When did you change the name servers? It can take anywhere between 1-3 days for the effect to take place. As you have registered the domain with same hosting company, they'll be in a better position to assist you.
