Please advise whether traffic exchangers are useful or not...

Hi Samuel,
It kind of depends on what you are using them for. If you just have a landing page that you have no real interest in ranking high in the search engines, then traffic exchanges might net you a few sales or sign ups.
If you have a website that you are trying to build search engine rankings for, stay away from them.
The trouble with traffic exchanges (for the most part) is that everyone is in them to get their own site out there. Most of the page views are for only a matter of 15-30 seconds. I see you are advertising one for 30 seconds.
People are not looking at your page with a genuine interest in it, but just to get the 'credit' for looking at it. That means the traffic is extremely untargeted and therefore useless.
What makes it worse than useless is that the major search engines like Google, etc., have methods of determining how long people are staying on your website. When people only stay for a few seconds and then click away, they are pretty much telling the search engine that your site is of no interest or real value. So you can actually be sabotaging your site by putting it in traffic exchanges.
Having said all that, if you are just promoting some personalized affiliate page that doesn't have any hope in ever ranking in the search engines anyway, it won't hurt to try traffic exchanges. Who knows? You might just snag someone's attention as they are cruising past.
Hope that helps. Angie

Good point! But still, I would only agree if it was a simple landing page that you weren't trying to rank well for in the engines.

I use traffic exchanges just to get people to sign up to my newsletter, using a landing page and offering a free report.
That's the only thing that works for me.

Samuel,
The answer is no.
Why are you always asking for the quick and easy way of doing things?
You could be spending your time building quality pages and doing it the honest and lasting way.
If I were you I'd quit looking into shortcuts. You know better yet you constantly do it any how. It's really annoying so please stop.

Like the above said, they are ok for landing pages but you will only get a small conversion rate (which is actually quite normal).
Its better to just get high on the search engines. I provide a service which you may like. Not going to talk about it, just letting you know of a possible avenue for you to take. Check my signature if interested.
