Well, we all know how online business works. We need to bring targetted traffic to our site and there are chances that the visitor may get converted as a customer.

Let me know which one has more visitor to customer convertion rate

1) Serps:
Natural search engine traffic that is brought by search engines like Google....

2) Paid Advertising
Programs like Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketting etc.,...

I need all well experienced web masters to answer this question and make their poll. Dont Just Vote, please share your knowledge by giving an answer. This will help newbies and others to get started their online earning venture....

Thanks

Hehe...is it just me or are the poll options the same? The options to pick in the poll are all PPC. If article marketing was up there, I would vote for that. I had some bad experiences with PPC when I first started IM, so now I've been sticking to article marketing and all my success has come from that method. Natural placement in the search engines is definitely the best way for me, although eventually I do plan on trying PPC again.

Yeah I agree they are the same

I think one of them was intended to be Organic traffic. If that's the case then I would pick that simply because if someone visits your site as a result of the content on your site, rather than because you paid to have them get their those people generally are already looking for what you have.
My vote: Organic(article marketing included)

I think it is always best to start out with the free methods (e.g. organic traffic) and start using PPC advertising when you have more experience with the free methods. I think if you start out with PPC advertising, its way too easy to lose money unless you really know what you are doing.

I feel natural search listings far outweigh paid listings in competitive markets unless you have a strong and tested converting system than can justify the high costs associated with paid listings.

Even otherwise, natural search listings have far more credibility than paid listings.

That's true but the time you need to get on the first page of google with natural listings is incomparable to Adwords. This is where PPC gains the upper hand.

It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out. My bet is that natural search listings will be the most popular response. Taken as a whole, natural search listings substantially outnumber paid listings, so it seems to me that, by virture of shear numbers, the global traffic from natural search sources should dominate the traffic from paid listings.

I have read several times, and do agree that internet users tend to click the organic listings rather than ppc ads.

This is my opinion.
Have a great day, Victoria

While there is some truth to this I will ad that once your $$$ and campaign are all dried up your "top" listings are gone. Whereas if you have something organic, you can quite literally just leave it alone for weeks and months at a time and still get top listings. This week will be the first time I go back and re-promote some of my articles. Some of them are almost a year old and have top 1, 3, or 5 listings that create traffic for me all the time. Other than the hour or so I invested into them the first time around the costs have been nothing...actually because I use associated contents for many of my articles now the articles themselves make me money(not much) but it's money none the less.

Natural is the way to go...unless as Vishal said, you have a smoking conversion plan.
