The yahoo! local listing says it gives top position for $25 a month. Has anyone tried and is it useful? Pl. provide some info.

I've never tried it, but it might be worth it as Yahoo has a high PR. Do they bill you monthly, or do you have to pay for a year in advance? If its billed monthly, I'd go for it, and you can always cancel if you don't receive any traffic from it.

I've used the Yahoo Directory, but not the local listing.
I'm sure it is especially useful if you feel a certain area is a good target area or if you have a local store/service.

Yahoo directory was not effective for me..I got acouple clients from free Yahoo local listings..
