Entrecard is one free blog advertising network. You simply drop your entrecard to other blogs and other will drop their entrecard on your blog. You can advertise on other blog as per your entrecard credit. You can get some extra traffic on your blog by using entrecard.

This method only really works if you have a ton of time on your hands. You also have to get creative so that people actually look at your blog instead of just dropping their card. The traffic isn't that great since it's not targeted and has a huge bounce rate.
Although, if you don't mind all of this, it probably is one of the better traffic exchanges out there.

Traffic exchanges do generate traffic but unfortunately not much else in the way of revenue.
