The guys who earn most are the ones who get most traffic and the simple rule to traffic is - create informative niche websites, get links and update regularly. There are no shortcuts, no secrets.

Hey guys,

I agree 100% with Vishal. There is no other way than to work hard and write good content.

All of the other shortcuts don't work without putting in the effort of actually working.

Just my opinion.

It depends upon bidding in adwords, so there is no guarantee how much will get for every click...

The cost/click depends on the keywords your page is targeted to. So if your site has pages targeted to different keywords, then the cost/click will vary depending on the competitiveness of those keywords.

I bought a book in March never having tried Adsense before, read it and did what I was told - the book was by a named author above - $2 a day was a good day. I then got some videos from a British guy which was heavily promoted and rewrote the site and put the ideas from both the book and videos into action on just one site that does not have that much traffic - I should make between $250 and $300 this month - from ONE site. I am now also getting offers from people to write unique articles for me - they like what I have done.

Make a site that helps people and put adsense on that - you will get more hits than trying to sell them something and also putting adsense on your site - they will get cofused or annoyed as I used to do - hey I want to buy a pot but they want me to click on this advert - what gives...

Add content, work at it, make the site interesting and the final word must go to :

The key to Adsense is traffic, traffic, traffic. I've found better luck with my blogs (and Adsense) instead of my website (on generating traffic) because blogs are easier to get to the top of search engines. I'm not sure why that's the case but it is so I use it.

The only drawback I've found on blogs and Adsense is that if someone doesn't like your blog or thinks it's just for "money making" purposes they will flag it and you have to go through a process to get it unlocked!

I have an 85-page eBook that a friend gave me, which I'm allowed to re-distribute for free. It covers features a bunch of great tips for Adwords as well as Adsense. If anyone wants a copy just shoot me an email at nick[at]thesupersurvey.com (obviously, remove the "[at]" and replace with "@") I'll email you the eBook. It might contain techniques you already know, but hey it's free anyways.

I keep my earnings up by adding content and more content to give the site visitors what they want. Using the right keywords gives you the relevant adds.

Lets not forget that using graphics with the Adsense adds is the latest thing - and it works, it really does.

I have created a website, not so rich in content and two months have passed but my page ranking is zero and absolutely no traffic.
What should I do ? It is just an informative site.

Building a book and system just for those that are strugling to get a few dollars a day.

But like they say there is no short cut and please don't think that buying 150 adsense ready sites might work. PLR memberships, or any other form of non unique content will hurt you. If not now it will in the long run

I realise that this is an old thread, but I am new here and just wanted to comment on the 150 adsense ready sites;

I bought a set in early january and put them on various domains; they started to generate revenue within 4 weeks. My best days were $150+ days and I loved it.

Recently Google changed their search engines to detect and remove these kind of sites and guess what happened;

95% of my domains (read adsense ready sites) were removed from Google's index within 3 weeks.

Nowadays I am lucky to get $10 a day, mainly from MSN and Yahoo traffic!

Speaking of MSN:
MSN used to be pretty easy to SEO, but I have seen my sites getting dropped from MSN as well in the last 6 weeks.

The latest phrase "Adsense Is Dead" is true if you start using those cookie cutter sites, so don't!

Instead, follow the advice given in previous posts in this thread.

Just my 5 cents worth...

I've made only $10 in three years. I just can't figure out how to get money from my four websites.

It's my first month of my website and I earned over $50, so I guess that's pretty good? I noticed when I changed the placement around of the ads I did better. The link ones seem to do way better than the square ads. Probably because they blend with the site more. I have link ones across the top at the bottom of my header (which also helps because I don't have to redo them every time I update a page- anyone else have that problem??). I don;t have much traffic to my site yet so hearing that your goal is $100 made me think maybe I am not doing so bad! lol.

Try increasing traffic to your websites. The more the traffic, the more you will earn!

What are your 4 Websites Eliza? Maybe you listed them earlier, but I missed them. If you would like some help, PVT me and I can help out. I am no Guru, but I think I can help someone who has only made $10 in 3 year.

I agree if you are promoting affiliate products that removing adsense is a good idea. You are cutting into your own profits by directing traffic elsewhere.

I've made about $17 from Adsense over two months. Not great, but it's easy money since the sites don't need a ton of work on them. Traffic and well placed ads are the keys for AdSense.
