Has anyone tried this. write some written content (with links to your site obviously) on a social networking site like hubpages or squidoo with keywords in the title, first paragraph and elswhere but don't overdo it.
Then submit the content to Digg, Mixx, Subbmitt, Swik and LinksMarker.
Within one hour that content will be on page one of google.
go on, give it a try and see for yourself. great for making money online with a website business or whatever you choose.

Hi Homebus,
Yes, it's a good idea to do it this way. The Google Bot will find your site very quickly. However, you aren't guaranteed a first page result per se, but you will get indexed very quickly.

I agree, these all help, but it doesn't guarantee you'll get on the first page, especially within one hour. I have sites with lots of backlinks and don't make it on the first 5 pages of Google.

Yes you do get indexed in Google quickly but i dont think you can be sure of hitting the first page.... just imagine trying to get on the first page of google for the words "make money online" in one hour cant see it happening by setting up a hubpage and squidoo. But definately a great idea as i have used it in the past 
Homebus, one thing your links arent active in your signature, you might want to sort this out and make them easier for people to access

Make sure not to over do it, as some of the social bookmarking websites will label you as a spammer if you do it too frequently.

Yes they will.
One site banned my IP and I only had 1 bookmark.
Strange!
And, I follow the rules.
I use Social Marker, and only post 5 per day.
It is so tempting to just slam them out there..but take the advice and hold back.

hey, thanks for all the replies, really helpful. i need to agree with hemjoe, the keywords making money online will not get to page one and of course remember that in time, someone will overtake you so if you do get to page one - it won't be forever. thanks hemjoe also for the tip regarding my signature - i'm off to do just that immediately.
thanks also to ntc for noting the possibility of being labelled a spammer - hadn't thought about that one. it hasn't happened to me as of yet but i can see it could be possible.
