First you go to face book and sign up for a account then log into the account and enter all your personal info and upload a great picture.
Second you would search all the differnt groups online like home business, facebook marketing, internet marketing, marketing tactics, and others and join them
Third you would start posting your website links in the links section and on the wall and also start adding people there to your friends list always make sure you send them a personal message.
Forth when people confirm the friend request make sure you stop by there page sometimes to post a message on there wall page.
Fifth just do this and watch you start getting lots of email messages and leads to build your business then just teach your team the same thing.

Bigmoneypro,
In your opinion is Facebook more valuable to join than MySpace? I only have time to set up one site right now so I wanted to go with the one that would be the most beneficial.

I haven't had a chance to test them out yet, but here's a funny spoof video on Facebook Vs mySpace (Cnet).

Hey,
I've always shyed away from getting onto the big social networks but the more people I talk to it looks like Ill have to bite the bullet and give it a go. I set up MySpace but I rarely use it. I set up Facebook and never used it yet. Thanks for the encouragement and the tips on how to use it.

TheWinner: What advantages does Facebook have over Myspace in your opinion?
I believe that they are very similar in concept. Most people will use MySpace or Facebook depending on where their friends or contacts are. Facebook does have a lot more apps that allow you to do things with it that you can't do on MySpace, but as far as marketing goes, I don't think that matters much.
I would check out groups and discussions on both and find which one aligns more with your niche market or the people you're trying to target.
Good Luck

I personally prefer facebook since my space add a white space on your link for PM, I don't know why they do this but they do and beside myspace is much slower than facebook!
Those people add too much on myspace (esp. the music , pictures etc). even I am using a broadband connection!
One way I think you make facebook or social networking works is your personal communication with them. people will NOT convert if you talk to them. this is from my experience and in general if they trust it will convert better...
hopes that help

Using facebook is good to get your business out there, take note that there is a service facebook provides for business as well.
You can create a "page" for your business and get information of your business on it and share it around.
Facebook is still a primary place for people to make friends, be natural and friendly. Don't go around promoting your websites, that will probably turn people off.
Introduce yourself around, add links to your websites in your own profile. When people are interested in you, they will check out your profile as well.
Cheers To Your Success, JTYS

Facebook works great with the way suggested above. Twitter is also very good. I have made 3 sales the past three weeks on twitter.

If I'm not mistaken, Facebook recently partnered with Visa business and they are giving away $100 in free pay per clicks. Check back on the site and do a search for "visa business" you should see the ad.
