I haven't done any blogging yet, but it is something I want to implement into my marketing strategies. I've been using articles, press releases and PPC with awesome results. Articles and press releases are FREE and PPC costs me very little.

Having a blog is a must if you are marketing online. If you run multiple programs, I suggest using links to the other blogs and sharing content. Those things have helped my SE ratings a ton. Also, don't forget about Squidoo. The SE love that site. I don't really know why...

Blogging is something that I am starting to really learn more about. I have known that it is an important piece of marketing your business online but have procrastinated getting it put up until recently. Now I realize how effective it really is and I have generated some traffic to my website as a result. Also I am learning the importance of using SEO to optimize it so that everything correlates together and is most effective.

Ezines, articles, blogs , facebook, forums, and most importantly JOINT VENTURESHIPS
I teach people how to find these. I have a guy who signed a major contract to have his ad on 100 radio stations FOR FREE.
I have a guy who did a JV with a car wash for the summer. Everyone gets a flyer with his website on it and a coupon for the next wash.
I have a guy who did a JV with a restaurant printing up the placemats.
The list goes on and on there are 1000 ways to do it, you just got to get out there.
As far as other marketing, online, offline, guerilla, local, and now voice blasting is my favorite as it has a great ROI. Good Luck.

I think if you are just starting out generarting free leads is very important because most people are probably on a limited budget. Also the traffic needs to be targeted otherwise your efforts are wasted. The methods mentioned in previous posts is a must for anyone new.

I have been using resources like www.craigslist.com to promote my liberty league international business. I also have a blog in my signature. Do you think i'm doing everything I need to be doing, is there anything else I should have on my blog?

Loomis: I have been using resources like www.craigslist.com to promote my liberty league international business.
I'm slightly surprised to see someone say so in public, because it's such a flagrant breach of Craiglist's terms and conditions!
I understood that LLI are also pretty strict about their advisors not breaching any print-media or online-media terms and conditions to promote LLI, too, out of understandable concern that the company could get a bad name for it.
Seems very unambiguous to me, I must say: LLI's founders are clear that it's a network marketing company (they say so openly in their own video introduction to the company on their website) and Craigslist are very clear that promoting NM is a big no-no.
Besides which, aren't people reluctant to join the business of someone who promotes in improper ways?
Are you sure this is a good idea, Loomis?!

I'm not sure what Craigslist Terms of service you are talking about... It's my understanding that you can't post under "help wanted" but they have a business opportunity section on craigslist which I have used to limited success.

Offer a free product such as an ebook will generate tons of free leads for you.
And on the subject of Craigslist, there is a section on there under the 'services'>'small biz ads' for those that wish to advertise their home businesses on there.
What I discovered when I was doing that was that it worked the best to place 2 ads a day in different places and wording it differently each time.
I got carried away one day as I was getting a fair response so I figured if two was good, ten would be better and I got to posting away and they slammed me good.
So I went back to two a day!

you can use youtube just like a forum. by leaving comments with your signature at the bottom. Youtube is the 4th most visited site on the net.
Hope that helps

You can always try Orangeleads. Their leads are free. You get seven at a time, but if you refer people then it gets bigger.

Yeah I agree, blogging is powerful.
Posting keyword specific articles are the key, with good keyword density of course (2% or less). Google's free keyword tool is a great resource too for that.
And you can throw an optin box for your newsletter on your blog and collect your visitor's info.
Good stuff!

Hi,
I just joined this community. I am using free traffic exchanges. The result is not bad.
I am also using Free Classified ads which I may say it is total waste of time.
thanks for your information. I may pay attention to blog.
