To be quite honest, with the actual promotion
of my business, in total, I spend about 5.5 hours
a day on my MLM business.

Now this is not by design, but by desire.

You see, in acutality, I could get by with spending
about half that time on my business but I choose
to do more.

Let me explain....

I have developed quite a few honest and lasting
relationships through MLM. Some of my good friends
are those I have done business with.

To me this is very gratifying. I am truly my mother's son.
I am a people person just like her and because people
relationships are the exact fuel that powers MLM, I
choose to go above and beyond what is really necessary.

How much time do you spend on your business?

Is this business free to join? In most MLM programs I joined, it was hard to get any referrals, so I let it go. But if I can find a good one that's worth my time I'll give it a try.

I truly believe in the beginning you need to plan on spending lots of time on any new business that you get involved in as it takes some time to learn the ropes, so to speak, then once you have a schedule or pattern set that works for you - you can set more specific hours...

I spend about 2 - 3 hours a day, sometimes more and sometimes less.

AOMA - All Out Massive Action at any time will just produce greater results, of course!

Yes I agree, any business requires time, but personally some programs
are not to easy to promote or get referrals. I do well with free to join programs and I make money easier and quicker.

I'm a busy guy. I got five kids and a full time job. 12 hours a day. I spend about an average of 6 to 10 hours a week on actually for real working my MLM. I mostly waste alot of the rest of my time doing "busy work." But I'm working on that.

I'm currently in the planning stages of how to really get the word out about my various online ventures. I'm reading up on SEO. But got any specific suggestions on the best ways to market online businesses without shelling out too mcuh?

Well, I'm SUPPOSED to be taking two weeks off right now...to focus on the ranch...but here I am!LOL Usually I spend about 2 hours a day talking to people on the net and such. My problem is that I am not productive with my time...I'm always searching for more information when I should be actively building my business....I really don't NEED anymore information, I'm just afraid of coming accross as stupid I guess (negative self talk!LOL)

I usually spend around 8-12 hours a day, I guess since I'm not employed full time. That, and my family says I'm a work-a-holic. lol

If determination is the key to success, then I am DETERMINED to never have to work for anyone but myself ever again.

I don't keep track....

I have alot of other balls in the air as well, so I spend 2-3 hours at a time on it every few days.

But I also use it daily with my contracting business, so even if I don't work it every day, prospects seem to contact me.

I find or every 20-30 thank you's sent out I get one person who likes the idea and wants to use it or thier business.

Also because I target other small business, they have less issue with the up-front fee involved. Many are already spending that money on advertising.

I try to spend about 2 hours a day on my business. Often I'm above or below that number just depending on what else is going on.

During the week, while my boys are in school is when I spend about 3 hours on my business. The creator of the business I promote told me that 30% of your time shold be spent on following up, answering calls/emails for existing downline or existing customers. 70% of your time should be spent on marketing/generating prospects. That's the rule I use with however much time I have online to work my business that specific day. Hope that helps!

I spend approximately 45 minutes a day on reviewing everything I am just to check the status of where I am at in my biz opps daily.

I then spend between 15 minutes to 2 hours on advertising and various forums I participate in, depending on what needs to be responded to and what needs advertising.

I work very closely with those below me and just above me in biz opps, both via phone and email, so this time can be as little as about 15 minutes to 3 hours a day depending on who needs assistance and how much assistance they need.

On average, I would estimate 3.5 hours a day, but it can vary so much.

I do notice that most of my time spent is on weekdays vs. on the weekends.

The question: How much time do you spend on your business?

My answer: "As much time as I need to!"

Since I'm a full-time marketer, the amount of time varies from day to day and is often several hours a day.

When I was starting out, I would spent 6-8 hours a day, planning, researching, learning and creating. I didn't know what I was doing then, so much of that time was unproductive. As I slowly started to understand what was required to operate a profitable online business, it became necessary to manage myself and my time more effectively.

Today, I measure my productivity not by how many hours I spend on my business, but by the quality of those hours and the results they deliver.

If you still have a full time job then it is difficult maybe to spend as much time as you would like on your business. Therefore the time you do spend needs to be productive, it is too easy to get distracted looking at different programs or techniques and carrying out research than actually achieving anything.

I do not spend enough time at all. I do have five children and work my construction business though. My wife took the kids to her moms place for two weeks. So I should be working this at least four hours a day now.
