Well if its for extra cash thats good because theres no security.

you might make $997 but you have no idea when the next payment will come.

If you looking for Financial Freedom market your big ticket item won't work. Build a funnel and drive massive traffic though it.. you will see better results that way

Whos look for extra cash and whos looking or FF

People join MLM/network marketing businesses for both of your reasons and many more.

I dont know quite what you are getting at by "theres no security".
If you are just sitting around waiting for the next sale then maybe you are doing something wrong.

And you're right. The money alone does not build financial security and freedom. Once you start earning you need to have a plan for the money. Thats pretty much why I joined my program. Not only does it create more income for me, the very nature of our products helps me grow that income.

So basically its the extra cash you use to build your financial freedom. So I'm not really following your logic in your post.

Theres a way you can matain a steady increasing income for the people that are looking F freedom.

instead of promoting your product front end i teach people how to drive traffic first and i show them what tools I use .. my big ticket program is at the end of my funnel so that people are set for recieving income

theres no security that your business is going to be around for ever that what i was trying to get at.

if you have a funnel your own products then thats never gone go away because its yours and you can always tweek it

I think most people join MLMs for financial freedom, although they usually don't ever earn any extra cash...they just throw it away on the MLM sign up fee. Sounds kinda harsh, but I'm afraid that is the reality for most people...

Thats so true. I prefer to teach marketing front end ..

That way people know how to market before spending any money..

Thats the main problem in this industry... Quality Leader. Ive pop in to so many MLMs where my upline just got lucky.

pretending to be a expert.

but hey i learned the hard way

I can't tell you why everyone joins MLM. It's a difficult business to be in. It's simple, very simple, but it's not easy. You have to have a thick skin, a tough hide! You will hear "no" more often than you will hear "yes." You will hear "I don't have any money." "I can't aford it," "I hate selling," and every other lame excuse you can think of. But every once in a while you will hear "This makes sense, i can make money with this, tell me how to do it and when can i get started." Those responses make the excuses tolerable.

I did it for a number of reasons. I was sick and tired of being in debt, living paycheck to paycheck. I could see the writing on the wall, I wasn't getting any younger, and there was not going to be enough in savings to live comfortably when i retired, which didn't look lilke it would be anytime in the near future. Now, i am excited and looking forward to retiring. I'm going to truly enjoy it! I had this burning desire, I mean deep down inside burning desire to be FREE!
I wanted to be free of the Rat Race, free from the time clock, free from the shackles of debt and the paycheck to paycheck prison.

I think for everyone it comes down to some version of the above. When your "why" becomes stronger than your doubt and your fear, your comfort zone suddenly doesn't seem very comfortable any more. I have seen addicts kick their habit, smokers quit smoking, drinkers quit drinking when they became mad enough at being controlled by something or someone else. When they just had to be free, no matter what, when their desire for freedom outweighed their supposed limitations, they kicked their addiction in the you know what and walked away free!

What's my point? It doesn't really matter what your why is as much as it matters how powerful it is. So, in my humble opinion, people join for many reasons. We just have to find out what that reason is, then show them how we can help them satisfy their "why." We have the answer to their pain. We have the tools they need to be free. Once we know what their pain is, what their deep burning desire is, and we put that vision of realization in front of them, more of them will join us. Some, sadly, still will not. Their fear and their doubt will just be too strong for them to overcome. For some it will be the inablity to make the paradigm shift from being a wage earner to becoming a business owner.

We can't help everyone. We can't save the whole world. We can only help the ones who truly want to be helped.
