The show in Miami... was very crowded!! Good to see so many getting in, it made me feel much better about the long run.
Now today it has only taken me about.. 4 hours... and I am still trying to finish my surf quota of 12.
Is the update complete? If so I hope they have another upgrade lined up soon. I love being in ASD.. what I do not love is taking all day just to surf 12 sites. Oh.. sorry.. I have to go.. I just heard a swish... time to try for one more site, possibly two!

I find it odd how varied the experience can be from member to member at any given time. I've personally have never had that hard of a time surfing the 12 or 71 (I've surfed all 71 every day since joining some 34 days ago, normally in one session.) Granted I have occasionally had to hit refresh lately.
However, I can talk to some of the people I've referred while we are surfing and they can have the experience you describe while it's fine for me at the same moment.
And since it probably needs to be said, 34 days ago isn't that long ago, but it's only been slow or worse the last couple of weeks. Before that it was always instant as you would expect it should be.
Just my observations.

Did anyone get a chance to talk to the IT guy in Miami? I am curious to see what kind of upgrades they are making. Also, I thought when they went to five servers a month ago we would not have anymore problems. I could not surf yesterday and was not issued a credit. Did anyone get credits from yesterday? Thanks.

I did get to complete my surf yesterday.. finally finished today. I was NOT credited last night either, hoping it is online for tonight for both credits.

No rebate here yet, but the same thing happened on the Sunday of the Tampa convention so I'm not overly concerned at this point.
They, in my opinion, really should do better with communicating such things. Something on the news site saying when to expect last nights rebate would have been easy enough and I'm sure less people might be concerned.

I have not been able to get on the site for 2 days now. Tried starting at 6am today and various times during the day. I'm in Florida which for some reason sounds like the worst area to surf from. I unfortunately told a few people about the opportunity this weekend and no one can visit the site...very embarrassing. 
I know some people have actually gotten on the site. Does it explain it in the back office why this is happening almost on a daily basis? T thought the site was upgraded and done before I left for Miami.

At last we have NEWS!!
Having surfed 8 pages over the past hour or so and beeen thrown out AGAIN! LOL This appeared on the surf link at my next attempt to surf:
"We are currently working on the web site surfing area. You will
receive credit for surfing everyday that this area will not accessible.
Please CLICK HERE to take you back"
So now we know!! And we can all relax and enjoy the rest of Sunday!

We are currently working on the ASD web site.
The site will return the morning of July 14th.

Site is still down with this on their site:

earn global credits for surfing. There is no need to submit a ticket or call the office.

Notice it does not say that they will be back up tomorrow as it said earlier.
