With the recent release of Firefox 3.0 I was curious if anyone was still using Internet Explorer and why?
Basically Firefox 3.0 is an internet browser that blows Internet Explorer out of the water. If for no other reason you may want to consider getting it because it is so much more secure. I know on more than one occasion I've gotten virus/spyware from visiting a "work from home" site.
Beyond that Firefox 3.0 is WAY faster and runs so much more cleanly and is much more user friendly.
I guess that's it jsut thought i'd suggest using it. It's simple to find with google jsut type in firefox.
Any other users out there?

I have not used IE for over two years now. I would never go back to it. I only use Firefox

Thanx for the heads up on the FF update :)
What have you been up to lately and what's on the drawing board?
I use three browsers every day for various activities. I like FF quite a bit. Even so, I like all three of them a lot and I have different add-ons installed on each.
The three browsers are:
IE7
Firefox
Opera
Definitely grab FF 3.0 but consider using the other two. Configure them differently and see if you can't appreciate your new browsing toolbox :D

ummm.. I guess I must a bit behind times as I am still using IE7... I am quite illiterate when it comes to that kind of stuff on the computer. Am thinking I need to step up to the plate a bit here as I am getting the feeling that I am missing out - and I very much don't like missing out - lol

Yep, even I use FF and have stopped using IE. The only thing I don't like about FF is that it loads slowly and may be is hungry on resources.

Open,
You're my new hero! I just installed FF 3.0 and it flies at the speed of light. I love it when there is a very significant upgrade in a browser.
FF has been my favorite for quite a while and I will still make use of IE7 and Opera, but FF 3.0 is incredible.

I have never used IE in my life I may use it for Windows updates & testing websites I have made but I like Firefox 3, It has really improved from version 2 but back then I was using SeaMonkey for awhile.

I Have been using IE since it began with no problems, but will give FF a try for a possible increase in speed and security.

I use the same three browsers as Newbie Shield... IE7, Firefox and Opera.
I particularly like Opera for testing website designs because it's the most unforgiving when it comes to CSS rules and HTML markup. It wouldn't let you get away with careless syntax or sloppy source code.
Firefox is my favorite! It's clean, fast, easy to use and reliable.

Honestly, I like Internet Explorer, and I think it is a lot more secure than it used to be. In fact, I "boycott" Firefox, although I know that a lot of internet marketers and "computer" gurus seem to really like it. Kinda funny, because Carson at Wealthy Affiliate created a forum thread that basically encourages Wealthy Affiliate members to switch over to Firefox, but, because of my "dedication" to Internet Explorer, I "boycott" that part of Carson's advice, at least for now LOL!

I haven't used IE in over at least 2 years. It's full of security risks. It's just not securely developed like it should be. Firefox of any sort is way better. IE is sluggish, and just the worst browser.

I use IE and FF depending on what I am doing online. I mainly use FF I like the tabbed browsing better than IE number one. I don't use many plug- in for either of them really. IE crashes or freeze alot on me which is the main reason i switched.
Plus the pop ups were getting a bit much. thanks

Sorry I forgot I created this thread and just now got back to it...I have been very busy. Not so much with marketing but had a few birthdays and a couple other engagements I've been planning that have kept me out of the loop for some time. I really do enjoy a break now and then to help clear the mind and come up with new things and ideas.
The Drawing Board: I am really looking for a group of people to start moving forward with. I'm in talks with a couple of people, who seam serious enough to team up with, but OMG I can't believe how hard it is to find people who are willing to work and brainstorm and just figure out a good plan to get going. Like 80% of my downline rarely responds back to things, 10% respond but don't follow through, and 10% are really committed.
Well enough about me how about FF 3.0...
Firefox 3.0 is my idea of browser heaven....the smart bar alone is simply amazing(basically it's a bar that turns works with your browsing history to help you get to where you're going faster...now all i have to do is type "forum" in my bar to get here
I love the great add-ons in fire fox too. I have one that i'm not sure I could live without....and unfortunately I don't remember where I got it or what it's called but it is basically a spell checker for internet. So when I type in a forum It spell checks my writing as I am writing....think "Word", but now online.
Speed is out of this world, the Mozilla Guys really set the bar with this.

Sounds like you have a sweet-sized down line and you are busy in a good way :) Good for you. Yep, working with others is more than twice the work. Once you find someone that is compatible and competent, it can really pay off.
Thanx again for the heads-up on FF 3.0. It's my newest favorite toy.
If you want, you can enable spell check in your FF browser by going into TOOLS, OPTIONS, ADVANCED TAB, then just check the "check my spelling as I type" check box. It will underline misspelled words and when you right click the word you can replace it or add it to the dictionary.
If that isn't what you wanted, let me know.

I love the speed and low resource usage of FF.
However, my one gripe is that it doesn't appear to have text anti-aliasing like IE does. In FF, the text on web pages looks jagged and harsh. If anyone knows of a plug-in or just an option in a menu somewhere that I don't know about, please let me know, and I'll gladly switch to FF.
But until then, I'm sticking with good ole IE7.

I haven't used IE for more than two years. Firefox offers add-ons and tools that make online work so simple and streamlined, especially an add-on called Scribefire, which is a terrific blogging tool. And Foxmarks keeps all my bookmarks exactly the same on all my computers.

Being new to internet marketing scene, all of your comment on Firefox are interesting. I only use IE7, maybe I am missing out here.
