Hello, i am just beginning in internet marketing. I really never have done it. I would like to try it to see how it goes. I would like to know which programs is best to begin for a complete newbie as myself. I realize this is going to be a long journey just to see the slightest results. But i would like to get my feet off the ground. I have seen a few programs such as MoreNiche, SBI or wealthy affiliate for the beginner. But can anyone do AM with no experience?

Hi INtro and welcome to the forum.
There are any number of programs and systems out there that will help you get started. Just be sure to do your research behind whatever it is you do. It is a good thing you have realistic expectations as well, most people come into markeintg online as if they were going to be able to make thousands by this time next week.
I would stick around this forum for a few days and take a look at some of the issues and programs different people work with. Take the time to ask some questions. Everyone here is really helpful and you wont run into a lot of sales pitches.
Did you have any ideas in mind as to what type of program you'd like to get into?
Hope to see you around, Gilbert

Hi intromine,
Some of the more popular programs around here are Wealthy Affiliate, SBI, Profit Lance, and Honest Riches. Any of those should work fine in regards to learning the basics of the trade.
You might then read some books, check out some free sites, and perform some Google searches to learn more. You can learn quite a bit from pouring over the threads of this forum and asking questions. For me it's a lifetime thing. I never stop learning.
Good luck,

You are doing the right thing by asking questions - the next best thing is to actually get started with something - lol
There is just no quicker way to get your feet off the ground than to actually get started. Many of us on here tried a variety of things before we found what 'floated our boat' so to speak - but we learned - or at least I did - thru everything I tried...
Happy researching and may you never get caught in the grip of analysis paralysis...

Definitely try AM. I've made more from that than anything else so far. The difficulty is in finding some good products and programs to promote. For that you'll have to spend some time searching the net, and asking around about specific programs. This forum is great for that.
Oh, and don't bother with blogging if you're trying to make money. Unless you wanna try paid reviews, then blogging might be worth the trouble.
Do you have any HTML knowledge? I'd recommend googling for some basic HTML tutorials. There are some good free ones out there, and those are essential skills you will need at some point, whatever you end up doing.

Welcome to the forum intromine. You can take a look at the signatures of some of your fellow members here to get an idea of what you want to do. Just do your due diligence in considering any program. You already sound like you have a realistic expectation in working from home which is a good start.

Welcome the the forum! Internet marketing is alot of fun. But like one poster said, we all tried different things before we saw success. For me, I struggled with a few different businesses because I wasn't taught about how to market. Without traffic coming to your site and targeted traffic at that, nothing happens. So, when I found my current business I got involved because of the extensive step by step video trainings actually showing you exactly what to do and where to do it. The results came in almost immediately and I haven't looked back.
You're doing the right thing by asking questions. There's alot of information on this forum that is very helpful.

I am also new to the internet work at home thing. I was hoping to get some of the same information. I have heard that most (if not all) data entry jobs are a scam. Has anyone found this to be true or false?

I do believe it's true that most data entry jobs online are scams. One in particular I know is, because I went to the ripoff report site and found them there. They are currently on Craigslist, some scammers are in there. There deal is they ask you to send them $15 dollars for their 'materials' and it goes nowhere. They have a nice letter all typed up stating you meet their requirement and it all looks professional but it's a scam. Don't pay to work, I've never had to pay an employer to work, they pay me. Just keep reading this forum and you'll find legit ways to make money online.

Hello intromine, I was not profitable until I joined Wealthy Affiliate..I always say I was chasing my tail. The subscriptions to the marketing tools were too costly by themselves and WA has them included. You can find a lot marketing info in You Tube also. Another way is to write articles, aka Bum Marketing. Some beginners try program after program ...I would avoid that. Have a great weekend! Victoria

Hi I am also new to internet marketing, work from home. I have found it is easy to get bogged down with all the information thrown at you. Having looked at various ebooks and systems, I found for a complete beginner I needed more finer detail. I am now following a program which has wealth of information and resources, and a daily plan to follow to get you started. Research and product reviews are important to get a feel if a product is any good.

Many people have some good ideas here. Article marketing and using forums to learn and ask questions (like you did) will get you started.
Go to ezinearticles and read some of the info there. You'll get an idea of what to write about!
Take care,
Laura

I agree with most everything said here. One of the most important things about getting started though is doing the research. There are a lot of scams and you should stick with the advice that anything that looks too good to be true probably is.
Find something that will work for you and then stick with it. Working at home is still WORK. You have to have a plan and keep working it.
Good luck!

The vast majority of data entry jobs are scams, however, not all. Great American Opportunities is one of the few legit ones, but it can take 1 to 2 years to get hired with them after passing their test. I am scheduled to begin working this fall. (It's a seasonal job.) As other people have stated, don't pay for a job!
