I would like for a few members of this forum to provide me with what "THEY" think are the three (3) TOP Affiliate Programs. Ones that are popular, stabile, have longevity and provide a good income. I know that is asking alot but maybe some of you can help.
Thank you

Are you referring to top affiliate networks or top affiliate products - and if so in which categories?

I want to become a affiliate for a product or service, like those you find in ClickBank. That type of program.

My top affiliate program is Sitesell (the makers of SBI). I use it personally, so I know it is great quality. You don't have to be a member/user to be an affiliate with them, though.
They have a lot of resources and tools to help you promote their products and services successfully. You also get lifetime commissions which is a plus.
Send me a pm if you'd like me to send you a link to their affiliate program. It's two-tier, so I'd be pleased to have you sign up to the program under me if you like.
All the best, Angie

Personallly, I think Wealthy Affiliate has an AWESOME affiliate program, because you get monthly commissions on a recurring basis - people usually stick around because they know that Wealthy Affiliate is the real deal. The only catch is that you have to join Wealthy Affiliate to promote their affiliate program. One benefit, of course, is that you don't have to worry about other affiliate marketers joining though their own affiliate link, which is often the case with Clickbank products that are targeted at affiliate marketers. This won't happen with Wealthy Affiliate!

Afiliate Site really demand huge time and there are few afiliates who paid you enough amount of money for your valuable time and thats why I never opt for it.

You can become an affiliate for any product, i find it is a lot easier if you own the product like happywife does with sitesell, getagrip with wealthy affiliate and me with profit lance.
However in the end it is your own opinion. I mean I wouldn't say there is a best product to sell, because if so everyone would sell it making it very hard to compete.

Google Adsense for ppc. MaxBounty for ppl. Clickbank for pay per sale. Product specific affiliate programs depend on your niche. Best to buy the product first, and then pre-sell it based on personal experience.

My personal favorite affiliate product is Penny Marshals tutorial on Google Adwords. Not only is it an excellent product, but it pays.

I know which one is my all-time best, but it wouldn't be very prudent of me to just blurt it out, lol.
However, if you look hard enough, you just might figure it out...

My top 3 are: Affiliate Future, TradeDoubler and Commission Junction. To succeed in affiliate marketing you need to put in the work. It's not only a question of joining the best affiliate networks, you need to learn how to push the campaigns and make them work for you.

Agreed with homewizz, it's not the most important that which affiliate network you've joined, but it depends on how hard you are working to produce income from your campaigns.
For me, I usually find products in PayDotCom since they pay commission through Paypal. It's good for the cash flow.
Amazon.com is not bad though. Tons of products for you to select, but very high competition also.

There are basically two ways you can find a product (only once you've found a targeted niche or a fat market) that people are hungry for:
1. Affiliate Networks which are the middle-man between you and the seller and give you a fair idea of how products are selling. (Go to Clickbank for instance and choose a category to view the rankings of the related products being sold)
2. Checking on your or your friends'/family's favorite products or websites, to see if they have affiliate programs (look for the "Affiliates" link at the bottom of the home page, or do a site search for "affiliates")
The key stat is percentage of sale paid. For instance a $50 product offering 50% commission doesn't pay as well per sale as a $100 product offering 30% commission. Once you've evaluate this stat, you need to factor in the quality of the sales pitch and the perceived value of the product that arises from this.
Some programs also pay you at a nominal rate just for directing someone to their site (so they can corral them with a freebie, usually).
The fastest growing market right now (and possibly the largest) is weight-loss. Internet security is growing with the risk of identity theft, and, of course, make-money will never run it's course. BUT there are enough people for you to reach your goals selling to virtually any niche, and in the beginning, the more targeted that niche the better. Have a focus and choose to have a greater presence in your target market than anyone else, no matter how small it seems. If you own it, eventually it pays you without you having to do a thing.
