I've been in sales since I was 16. I'm now 21 and doing well selling mattress's. I'm looking for some extra income. I'm not really looking for a "get RICH quick scheme." I was trying to research Carbon Copy Pro and even after reading it, I still wasn't sure exactly what I would be selling. I felt like he was just being a salesman by telling me everything without telling me anything.
Any advice would be nice and I'm open to other programs.

Hi
There are many different ways to make money online. Im sure your overwhelmed by them all.. Right now im listening to some tony robbins.
Anyway theres a way to market yourself with spending any money on advertising. PLUS heres the good part you don't have to sell anything.
I learned how to get leads chasing me. I had a call the other they because someone wanted to get involved in my business at 5am in the morning..
Carbon Copy Pro is a good system but before joining any business learn how to market first.. save you alot of time and money.
Most MLMs marketing techniques are old and dont work anymore.
Something that i teach my team is to market them selfs instead of there opportunity

Hi Tanner,
I know that feeling. It drives me crazy. I'm the type that wants the sales page to spell things out pretty clearly so I know where they're headed without having to wade through stuff for a couple of hours before realizing it isn't at all what I'm interested in. 
I don't know much about Carbon Copy Pro apart from things I've read in the forums, etc. There's a long thread here http://www.work-at-home-forum.com/14_5620_4.html that you could read through. It's several pages.
I believe, if my memory is correct, you need a few thousand dollars to invest if you intend to use that program as it is laid out. But I'm not sure exactly what all is involved. I imagine someone will explain it in more detail if you ask in that thread.
I've only been at online marketing for just over a year. It was a bit of a learning curve (still is at times) but I've fallen in love with it. I build niche (topic) websites and promote affiliate products and the occasional MLM product if I really like it. I also make a bit of money from Adsense ads on my sites.
If you've got a subject your really interested in, it isn't really that difficult to turn it into an online business (unless you're the only one in the world with that interest). 
The program I use/used to learn to build my sites and market is SiteBuildIt. It's top quality and takes you through everything step by step and clearly so you know what you are getting into. It's NOT get rich quick, but a long term business building model. If you want to check it out or have any questions, just let me know and I'll point you in the right direction.

I know what you mean. I hate it when people beat around the bush like they are afraid to come straight out and tell you what they are selling!
I am with Coastal Vacations and you have probably heard of them but if you want to take a peek, my website is in my sig..

Hi Tanner,
I think we've all been there�there being the sales pages with all the information in the world except for the stuff that really matters. If it's extra income you're after then you've found the right forum. Spend a couple of days reading around a bit and then take some time to get your questions answered. I think you'll find the right fit for you in no time.
Keep the attitude that you'll have to do some work and that "getting rich quick" is not REALLY an option and in anything you do you'll succeed.
Please do your due diligence prior to signing up for anything, again, this forum is a great place for getting feedback from experienced online marketers.

the most important skills I use for my business are approaching people/ talking to people, which I LOVE doing! Also advertising, and I don't mind just sitting down and type type typing away searching costantly. So I'm cool with what i do every day for my business. Sounds like, with what you do, you don't mind talking to people. Lot's of the posters on here work with companies who probably do the same thing I do every day.
I am happy with what I do because I represent a REAL company with a 20+ year track record and I just talk about it! I don't stock or actually "sell" physical products. It's great.
I know there are lots of companies probably similar to this concept, if it sounds interesting just make sure you check the business plan, and make sure it makes sense for YOU. I have also found SUPPORT is a big thing, so make sure the company has a buiness team that is real people who want/need to help you succeed! I didn't want to sign up, get a "thank you" email" and then be left wondering what i do now. I'v had help all the way, we even do weekly calls to set goals/share success/get advice etc. REALLY cool.
You sound like a hard worker so just find what you like and GET TO IT. You WILL succeed in the right opportunity!
I wish I had found out about this when I was 21.... what a head start you have! Good luck!

I totally agree with Gavin. Especially if you are new to internet marketing that you get yourself some training before investing in any business or at least start finding training. There are many things that you can learn reading in forums too. Training has made all of the difference in my success. It wasn't until I found my mentor that things turned around for me.
Next I would tell you to look for a business that goes around something you are genuinely interested in or passionate about. The odds are higher that you will be successful if you work a business from that angle. Like for me Law of Attraction and helping people are my passion so it is easier for me to be successful with what I am doing. Also it is fun so it is not hard for me to dedicate time and energy toward it. How you feel about your business will always come through to other people so that is why that is important.

I totally understand your situation. I'll get straight to the point. My strong recommendation is to visit the link below since this program is mainly for beginners. Quite frankly, don't join any paid surveys, data entry jobs, and MLM/Network Marketing programs as they do not work for most people. This advice is coming from my personal experience. I've had 4 years of disaster by joining those due to lost money and false promises. I have learned a great life lesson. Best of luck to you and I hope that you find the best program for you.

Hi Tanner,
Here are a few essentials I look for in any opportunity:
1. Is it run by people who have experience in the field?
2. Do these people have a proven track record of integrity?
3. Are they up front about what they want from you?
Here's four questions to ask anybody who's program you're considering:
1. What are you trying to sell me?
2. What's it cost?
3. What's in it for me?
4. Why should I trust you?
If those questions are answered, then ask these next two questions:
1. Can I do this too? (Is it duplicatable by the masses?)
2. Will you show me how?
And here are 5 "pillars" a company MUST ABSOLUTELY have in place if you are going to be successful with it:
1. Company management experience with integrity. (Already touched on above.)
2. Good timing of the company in its chosen industry(ies) and of the industry too.
3. Remarkable and consumable products.
4. A compensation plan that pays part-timers.
5. A duplicatable system.
Always read the policies and procedures from beginning to end. Seek the help of a third-party professional if you don't understand something in them.
Make sure the business model drives the correct behavior in the field. In otherwords, if you have no other choice than to recruit people as distributors because you can't sell your products, it's not going to be easy to reach your income goals. It may even be impossible.
